First trip to Salvador's. A friend and I made our inaugural trip to Salvador's today. It was one of those experiences where I said to myself "why did it take me so long to get here?"
The place is amazing- a full Mexican market with quality meats and and packaged items along with a full bakery. They have a wonderful variety of pastries. I was there for lunch so I bought 3 tacos, selected "Cabeza" (beef head meat), "Barbaquoa" (roast beef) and another well-seasoned meat whose name I forget. They have a really great salsa/condiment bar as well, allowing you to add several varieties of salsas, onions, cilantro, etc. to your tacos. The service was fast and the quality great. I also decided to try a couple of pastries, including a really tasty swirled variety with coconut and a fruity filling. I'll be back.

Fabulous! Carnitas tacos with homemade tortillas - doesn't get any better!
This is a fantastic place! Everything I have had here has been delicious. Everyone I have recommended it to has enjoyed it. They have a menu you can order off, baked goods (professional celebration cakes, breads, and desserts), groceries, and a carniceria (butcher). Everyone that works here is super nice and very helpful, and the prices are very reasonable.
Went for the tacos and was not disappointed! Generous portions of meat, salsa/toppings bar, and plenty of drink choices. They looked like they have a decent bakery and candy selection as well. Easy to find location, plenty of parking, and very clean with quick service.

Their carne asada burritos are absolutely delicious. But what's a burrito without the right sauce? They have the best sauce (orange one) and it goes perfectly with pretty much anything on their menu. Also the decor inside is pretty cool.

Nice Clean Place. Food is delicious, especially the Poso'le. For under $20.00 you can get a large order of posole and four carnita (big) tacos. More than enough for the wife and myself. After a meal like this we are full baby!
I haven't been back to Salvador's in 4+ years. When I worked in Salem, I would eat at Salvador's a few times per week - I loved their beans and their tortillas. Everything was so good and fresh.
I had the opportunity to return recently! It was so good. I had sopes con pollo, and helped myself to the fresh salsa bar. Sooo good. Try it.
Ok, ok, ok! First of all, I go to Salvador's Bakery for my favorite, "tres leche," cakes!
But, what do I find there....a taqueria inside, AND my favorite "lengua" is #Trending on the menu! OMG, now I'm in Heaven... oh Heavenly! I order three, to go; but you can also sit and eat them right there!!
This Bakery is a Staple in our Community and the atmosphere is clean and the variety of items is abundant, and refreshiningly al la Mehicho!💞
P.s., They've got the spieciest chip variety my kids have ever seen! Totally awesome place to visit and enjoy!

Amazing authentic Mexican food. I'm in love with their Carnitas. The sauces are addicting as well. This was my favorite place to eat while attending Chemeketa.
