Got the pork chow mein, hella soupy. Also tasted funny. Also got the egg foo Yung (I can't spell lol) friend got the beef noodles. 🤤 Delicious 😋. Over all I think a 3 star rating fits this place.

Food is always delicious here. However, on my most recent visit the place was way too hot inside. I had to get to-go boxes because I couldn't eat most of my food in the restaurant due to the heat. This was the first time it ever happened but I think I may have endured heat exhaustion or worse. So definitely do not dine in here on an even mildly warm day, but get it to go instead.

I use to go to Blue Willow a lot when I lived in Salem and they always had large portions. Not this time plus I found hair in my food. They are over priced for the amount of food they now give a person. Will never eat there again so disappointed.

We go there at least once a month. Heading there tomorrow as a matter of fact. We were searching for the best Chinese in Salem and planned on hitting the 8 or so on Lancaster before deciding. We started at the Blue Willow....we stopped there. Great service, great food, great portions. Keep it up Blue Willow.

Poor phone skills cannot understand them to place a order to save your life. Communication not better in person. Food is always good but when you are hung up on multiple times then i am finished we will take our business elswhere.

Had a great time the other day at Blue Willow portions were amazing, food was also amazing. My favorite was there super taste and super cheap crab puffs. My husband, myself, and our best friend all gotta eat and get super fat for less than $30. Also had great service, was super fast and friendly.

Ordered the Mandarin Chicken and Pork fried rice. Chicken was okay....rice not so much. The pork was on top of rice, no egg, peas, or other things often in rice. Chicken tasted like Mandarin chicken, would order it again.

Tasteless food and the attitude of the servers left a lot to be desired!. I had the crab puffs. . and there wasn't even a HINT of crab flavor. I also ordered beef lo mien and the order was huge. . but flavorless. The servers were put out that they had to work and walked at a snail's pace . . and that's an insult to the snail. I had been looking forward to some nice Chinese food, but will not go there again nor will I recommend it to my friends.

A friend tried to warn me............... It was a warning I should have heeded. I reasoned, "how bad can Chinese food be, right?" If you're curious, this place is for you! The restrooms were…….hard to describe in the same paragraph where food is being discussed. (I had to retype this word. I first spelled it "disgust". I wonder what Dr Freud would have said about that!) Well, I could go on, but I think that covers it. ;~) The dining room was also less than antiseptic. My bride had Egg Fu Yung (haunting, not in a good way, aftertaste), Deep Fried Shrimp (greasy) and Pork Fried Rice (past its prime pork) served with Egg Flower Soup (good). I had Curried Shrimp (good) served with the same Pork Fried Rice and Hot and Sour Soup (hot but skinny on flavor) Both meals were served with Fried Won Tons (greasy). Our server seemed to be trying but was a little rough around the edges. Coming here was a mistake. I only hope readers will be smarter than I was, and not repeat it.
