No one in Salem is doing what Joe Mocha is doing. They brew their own coffee in-house in a Diedrich roaster, they make high quality made-to-order food, their baked goods are fresh, seasonal, and delightful, and the staff are fun and engaged.
I can't wait for them to finish their dining room remodel! When they do, you'll find me there.
Included is a picture of the breakfast biscuit (they'll smother it in their gravy if you want to pass out from happiness) and their coffee cake.

I've lived in Salem for about 10yrs. This is hands down not only the best coffee but also the most consistent, my wife and I always come here when we don't want to risk getting bad coffee.
They make their own chocolate for mocha, roast their own beans and their food menu while small, has no disappointing options.
They also sell their whole roasted beans, which is what we use at home now.

Heard such wonderful things about this place decided to stop in. Very friendly but when I got home to eat my coffee cake and drink my coffee it was all burnt. Coffee tasted like it had been sitting in a burnt pot. And coffee bread was heated and when I went to eat it it was also burnt and very dry. Pretty bummed but oh well.

Stopped by Saturday- some guy in drive thru lane doing work said they're closed Sat. and they're closed Sun. Odd that a coffee shop would be closed on the wknd. but love your coffee!

Great food- keto quiche is amazing- sorry for the bad picture, I ate it before I realized I should get a picture! Great food- We do large take outs for office birthday parties. Always been happy with what I get. Paleo, Gluten or Gluten free- It all tastes GOOD!!!

I almost never write bad reviews, but my experience here was a bit shocking. Always wanted to try and heard good things. Unfortunately, my breakfast biscuit was inedible. The square egg was off-putting, but it was the soggy biscuit and BURNT sausage that ruined it for me. The Americano was good, but the worker wasnβt wearing a mask. This place was pretty pricy and - fyi - the drive through is tight and a bit of a claustrophobic trap. You canβt leave the line once youβre in it.
