I have ordered take-out from here before, and everything was fine.
My husband and I ordered take-out this past week; I ordered chicken Kashmiri curry, and there were grapes and pineapple chunks in it. It was grossed, the sauce was very creamy, and the chicken got no flavor. My husband ordered lamb vindaloo curry, and it tasted like straight tomato sauce with some lamb chunk in it.
I was very disappointed since the food was not cheap. Not sure if I would order from here again.

I would add photos but it’s already devoured!! Best naan I’ve ever had, everything I tried was amazing. I bought a few things not expecting to like everything so much so had to come write a review. Now one of my favorites in Salem easily.
*edit* no seriously it’s like my new favorite place. Great food!!

Always hits the spot! Previous to COVID the place was always full of folks enjoying their amazing buffet. Weird to see it so empty and no buffet, but my stomach was still full after enjoying the generous portions of their super delicious dishes.
Hope the buffet comes back all. With the state capitol opening back up to staff on May 1st.

This Has to be the worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted. I definitely love Indian and Thai food; and I have to say this was not Indian food. The butter chicken was overly creamy with too much yogurt End a no flavor. The biryani lamb lacked spices and was overly cooked. I’m not sure how they cooked it but was definitely not biryani. It seem like they made stewed lamb and through leftover rice, chickpeas, eggs, and I even think I found some broccoli stems in there. Highly disappointed.

Disappointed. We just ordered food to go, got home and realized the papadam was just a big pile of crumbs. The employees literally smashed the papadam wafers into crumbs, as if they smashed them with a hammer or stepped on them. The second issue was the spice level. We asked for mild, and one dish was so spicy it is inedible. Third problem, the other dish was incredibly over salted, tasted like they didn’t know what seasoning to use, so they just poured a bunch of salt on it. Hopefully it was just an off day for them and this isn’t their usual bad quality food.

Wish I could give no stars. Used to come here as a child, food was so good from here in the early 2000’s. As of the past 2-3 years oh my GOD. Horrible, like you would think Indian food of all foods would have flavor. It taste like they use 0 seasoning and NO salt! I have to season this shi myself at home… I hope they change cause this is the last time I’m buying from here and hope they lose business so they can realize people don’t want bland food and they get their act together and put actual love and passion into their food like they used to! Disappointed in their customer service as well they all seem to not want be there and always seem to have an attitude. Won’t be returning.

Disappointed with the food . They only have takeout right now.
I had Naan, tandoori chicken , chicken tikka masala and gulab jamun. The tandoori chicken was not up to the mark. The naan was quite thicker and not well done . Tikka masala was not so bad. They are also pretty expensive!

I did not realize how good this food really was until I started eating at other Indian restaurants. The flavor profiles of the curries are absolutely amazing and they do these little potato curry dumplings that are very unique and delicious. I've eaten here 3 times and it is now my favorite Indian restaurant in The Valley.
