Came for a jazz/funk show and loved the atmosphere of this place. It almost felt like walking into a speakeasy. Service was very friendly and great. Pizza itself was STELLAR (or maybe I am just used to eating sub par pizza, haha) so I have no complaints. We also got a great bottle of Chianti.
I wouldn't call this a cheap place to eat, but it is a totally reasonable price for a dressed up night out- impress your date by taking them to a classy show!
I'm sure we will be back here.

Not your typical pizza place. This place has AMAZING steak!!! The pizza is great too. The service is impecable and the Chef, Ryan, even came out to thank us for the compliment! Another steak house in Salem is very good and has a larger variety of cuts but doesn't come close in delivering like Christo's!!! The outside of the steak is crispy and the inside melts in your mouth! Choice of steak topping as well. When I crave steak, it's Christo's!!! The fries are a creative delicousness that you won't find anywhere else.

Do not order take out from here!!!! Ordered two hours ahead for a set time, still had to wait 30 minutes in their waiting area. Food was super cold, and the pizza tasted extremely different from usual. Had a pretty good experience dining in but take-out made me feel like I completely wasted my money.

Ordered a calzone and they offered a cappello. Service was great. Very fast. Even though I didn't really like the a cappello, the quality was very good. I have a feeling I will give them a 5 after I try the pizza next time. The atmosphere was nice and cozy.

Unfortunately I couldn’t negatively rate this restaurant but it doesn’t even deserve this one star. My boyfriend, kids and I waited 1 hr and 30 min only to receive under cooked bloody & cold chicken and oily fettuccine noodles. There was no excuse at we had reservations at 7:20pm and didn’t receive our inedible food until 9pm. Not only that, but there was so many tables open because the restaurant closes at 8:30pm?! The wait staff stood around talking, texting on their phones and gave the worst quality service and food ever. I will inform others as this food service is unacceptable and I be monitoring my health as I feel sick after those first few bites.

New to the neighborhood and my wife and I were looking forward to coming in for some pizza and wine, but disappointed to be turned away at 8:09 pm, only for the hostess to let us know that they were closing early (after asking the chef if we could be served). Not a great first impression to say the least. Would love to give it another shot, but will definitely call ahead to find out if they plan to close early.

Really good food and service. Portion sizes were reasonable, not large or small. We ate our meal and felt comfortable. We had clams and mussels and burrata with prosciutto and both were great, the burrata was better for sure. She had a Margherita pizza which was great for what it was. I had the the chicken parm and it was great, once again not the typical chicken parm super heavy, large portion, but reasonable and great tasting. Overall, would most certainly go back.

The first time we had the pizza we swore it was the beat in salem. This time it was so so. Both pizzas we got weren't cut very well so we were ripping them apart, which seems like a silly complaint but also gets quite annoying after a few slices. The crust is boring. Everything took awhile but it was Friday so that was understandable.

On Tuesday, August 22, I experienced my first Christo's visit with friends and will definitely return when I am in town. Being a pizza aficionado and snob, and one who leans favorably toward thin crust, I enjoyed the freshness of the regular crust and ingredients of our combo pizza. Our server was also very nice.
I really got a kick out of the bar since it reminded of an old cabaret club devoid of Go-Go dancers. The featured musical acts are interesting and would surely draw me in if I were a local.
There was also a gal who sat across from me who kept making eye contact with me. She was both cute and intriguing. Not sure about the guy she was with.
Christo's is a fun and enjoyable place!

My husband & I went over to Christo's Pizzeria for dinner this evening only to have the worst experience. I ordered Bisnonnas Meat Sauce, after I took a bite I felt something sharp in my mouth - it was a white plastic object about 1" long. The waitress took my meal with the object back and I re-ordered a different dish. When the waitress came back she said apparently the object was a piece of spatula that had broken off in my meal SO because of this choking hazard they would take off the $2 breadsticks off my bill!!! Then she said something like I hope you had a good evening - All I was thinking was I had a great evening until I came to this restaurant. $2 off a meal for a choking hazard -Nice!!! Never again!!! Beware of hazard at this restaurant & poor service!

Best spaghetti in town. The meatballs are amazing the pasta always cooked perfectly the sauce is to die for. Amazing service highly recommend anybody looking for a fabulous Italian food

This was our first visit and we were very pleased! We enjoyed the atmosphere, the $6 glass of house red, and our food. I had the Napoli pizze which, if I'm honest, tasted exactly like Italy. It was light and the tomatoes tasted so fresh and the crust was thin. My husband had the spaghetti and meatballs and loved the light, freshness of the sauce but had hoped for more flavorful meatballs. Our server was pretty hands off, not bad necessarily, just not super attentive. We will definitely be back!

Really liked the atmosphere and will probably return, but we were there when they first opened and the meatballs and sausages weren't ready, so that was disappointing. Then, I didn't think the food was as hot as it could have been, but since I didn't complain, they didn't know. Staff very pleasant!
