Sweetwater Bar-b-que

Recently ordered takeout from here, I have never been and it's a place we will go back to. The service was excellent, the wonderful woman who answered the phone helped me with selections and was just excellent in person and on the phone! 10/10 customer service! The ribs were really good!! The pulled pork and spicy sausage were out favorites! The BBQ is a little sweet but sooooo good!!! Really great!

Truly a place locals eat..... over look the rough appearance and inside you will find really good BBQ items. I had the 3 meats and two side for $15 bucks. Portion side is great and the smoked ring and bbq are great. No thrills place all disposable dish and silverware. Self-service and order in front then you pick up. Plenty of parking and tables inside. All made on premises. 23 years with same owner!

This was a great place. Was visiting Uranus fudge down the road when the kids said they were hungry. We all love BBQ so stopped in and was not disappointed. The food was plenty, and the prices couldn't be beat. Best BBQ in Missouri that I've found so far. When in the area I highly recommend stopping in and will be doing so again myself.

Staff was extremely personable. Atmosphere was nice. The brisket was more like roast. Not terrible, but not great. The BBQ sauce was on hit. The beans were mediocre. Could of been dressed up a bit. Similar to canned. Potato salad okay. Overall if you are looking for very reasonably priced and average food this is a good choice.

We where at Fort Leonard Wood, for my grandsons graduation from boot camp. So he wanted some good food. Being we are from California and New Hampshire we had no idea of where to go to. Google helped us. Best decision we have made in a long time, as far as food goes. You can't ever find a place that can satisfy 3 generations. My grand kids are very picky. Needless to say they didn't even know what a spud was. Buy they loved every bite. So much food,. Great taste great portions fabulous staff. Very friendly. I usually don't do reviews but this one was a well deserved. Thank you for making our food with love. You can taste it.

Just got through having a fantastic meal from the good folks at Sweetwater BBQ! Everything was very fresh, from the pork to the potato salad. My son loved the chicken bites on the kids menu. Casual dining with a great vibe. I'd definitely recommend stopping by for a meal or takeout. I can't wait to get back out there for more of those outstanding ribs and sausages!

Cute, off the highway eatery. We had reservations about how good the food would be, (as the parking lot was empty) but, once we stepped inside and caught a whiff, we knew we were in the right spot. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was delicious, we devoured it before we could get a picture! We will definitely stop by again on our way through. Absolutely worth the stop.
