Golden Grill

This is usually my favorite seafood boil place. This last visit, no so much. I need to find out if new owners or cooks or what! My sauce wasn't garlicky at all! It was dark red like just Cajun. I asked for garlic butter and spicy hit Cajun..like always..(haven't been here maybe since pandemic), it wasnt delicious. It wasn't hot and spicy. It wasn't good. So I made my own garlic butter.

My family we ordered Seafood platter #5 and it taste so good! I ate so much I felt like puking and had a food coma haha. It came in two big aluminum trays. The guy was also nice enough to give us free rice! We ordered online and when we got there we just had to wait a few more minutes. It was hot and fresh!

Update: FINALLY got my food replaced with no problem after going in in person and talking to the people. I'm happy, just hate it took so long. Messaging options need to be looked into more. My son loves the jerk chicken rice here so we wanted to try it. We ordered over the phone (June 2020) and sent my son here to pick it up. Got the meal and it was jerk chicken fries! By the time my son got back with the meal, the store had just closed. I called and called, but they did not answer. I then emailed them on facebook and they said they were closed. I told them my problem and they said they would let the owner know. I waited a month before I reached back out; never got a response. Waited another 2 or 3 months, still NOTHING. Till this day I have not received a response and have not gotten a refund or my food replaced. We didn't eat the fries!

Yesterday I ordered food over the phone for pickup I was told it would take 15mins. I came in 20mins. Later they had me sitting in the restaurant waiting on my order for 38mins. additional that’s 58mins. Almost an hour for one simple order I already paid for they didn’t respect my time nor did they care I was a paying customer. They will not EVER get my money ever again then the quantity of the food was small a portion & I order mild food they gave me spicy & never gave me extra potato and corn that I paid for. If I could give 0 stars then I would. Am a pregnant woman that couldn’t stand long waiting on my food I had my extra hyper busy one-year-old with me. And no cared I was waiting on my food for so, long. My time was wasted & I didn’t get one apology just excuses. Worst place ever customer service is not A priority nor is the food/ service. Not worth going.

Worst seafood I ever had. I cannot stand when a restaurant doesn't take pride in their food or respects customers money.. if you're going to take peoples money and cook for them make sure its actually seasoned the food taste like water and spice I ordered the mild cajun and theres nothing cajun about it. Wow! I could have done better. Just close your business already.. highly disappointed.
