They must be under new management because this food was absolutely awful. Just awful. Gritty greens tasted like they were cooked in a rusty pot that was cleaned with degreaser, Mac and cheese were mushy and the sweet potatoes looked and tasted like Gerber baby food. I can’t believe I cheated on my diet for this. HIGHLY disappointed. Frankly, I’m insulted.

Lawd...wish I had looked deeper into the reviews before ordering. Only thing good on this plate was the yams. Mac n cheese: dry. Rice: unseasoned and undercooked. Smothered chicken: just shy of okay. Jerk chicken: spicy yes but that’s it. Making something spicy isn’t seasoning. Pepper is not “spice”. Unseasoned. And it honestly chewed like rubber. I tasted Angelea’s soul food in BP and I thought it would be the same but sadly ... it’s WAY off.

Can’t give an honest review because I just went there today. Google said they were open. But the lights were off and the doors were locked.

Food is bomb and definitely what I was looking for. Only reason they got 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the cashier. He was kinda rude and I felt like he was rushing me. Plus it was my first time there so when i asked a few questions and he couldn't give me the answer I just ordered.

I liked the food it was good. Would give 5 stars if there wasn't a bunch of crack heads hanging around the area. Be careful. You'll have people just walk up to you and harass you. Again the food was good. Should be okay to stop by here around 1pm but keep watchful. If you have a right to carry a concealed handguns I would bring it.

The food is delicious and the service is so quick wow. Jerk chicken and rice. If you love spicy food get that. Had me sweating.
