The food is good. Even though they forgot to give me corn! I really like the taste the favor of the food. I would go back again. The staff was coo, and helpful since it was my first time ordering for them. Definitely would recommend.
20 minutes from order to fresh cooked meal with big flavor. Very friendly folks running the restaurant. The combo plate was large, great value for money.
WOW. The wings were elite. Potato side was covered in cheese and incredibly flavorful. Catfish and whatever dip it was that came with it were second to none. Very friendly place, staff were great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I have been to NOLA on several occasions and I love it there, especially the food! At Cajun Life I ordered a Catfish Po'Boy, Cajun Rice and Cajun Potatoes and it was all as good as the best Cajun food I've had in New Orleans. The owner is a hard-working, friendly man who is appreciative of your business!
The food was delicious! Definitely get the cheese sauce on your fries! Tried the catfish, shrimp, and wings and loved everything as did all my friends. Will eat here again! Also the staff and owner are so kind and welcoming! Great customer service as well!
I love this place. Best fried chicken in the area: spicy and crisp. The fries are pretty great too. Fans of Cajun food will also love the fried catfish. Service here is consistently friendly and welcoming. Cajun Life is an asset to our neighborhood!
Amazing. I got the Catfish and Potatoes, and was beyond impressed. I used to have fresh catfish from my great grandparents’ farm back in the day, and the catfish here reminded me of that. I have yet to find it this good anywhere else.
The only thing to keep in mind, and this isn’t a bad thing, but you’ll have to wait around 20 minutes if you don’t call ahead. This is when they aren’t busy.
This is because the food is legit fresh and that takes some time to cook. Totally worth the wait!!
Fair price and a decent amount of food.
