This wasn't a good experience, at all. The food was luke warm to supposedly cook to order. The place was a mess! The glass the water was served in was stained. Table had been wiped with what seemed to be a dirty towel, the food was covered in a layer of noticable dust and food crumbs as if it hadn't been sweep either by the night crew or the morning crew. I was there early so it wasn't a crowd and it hasn't been extra busy due to covid so the cleaning routine is just being undone🤷🏾♂️💯

This is my last review of this I-hop. This is the last visit. Both my wife and I ordered omelettes with American cheese substituted for cheddar. Naturally, we both had cheddar on our omelettes. We were sitting with an easy view of the kitchen. The waitress asked the cook if he substituted American for cheddar and he shakes his head no and grabs my omelette, does something, pops it in the microwave to melt the cheese.
After taking a couple of bites I realize that the cook took the cheddar off of the top, put American cheese on top... inside was cheddar. The waitress had a bit of an attitude, when I told her she could take it back and remove it from the bill. She never came back to the table, so we went to the front to pay for my wife's half eaten food, only to hear our same waitress say they made another order wrong.
No apologies were given. This is my last time going to the Maplewood I-hop.

Apparently pickup orders take priority over eat in. Several customers were waiting for what seemed like a long time to be seated. The restaurant was maybe 1/4 full. Coffee was ok. Food was fair. One of our meals had a strange taste that we could not pinpoint. The pancakes were nice and fluffy but, had little flavor. The syrup was some of the most flavorless non maple I've ever had. You would think for the fairly high prices you would at least get decent Maple Syrup. Service at the table was good. I think a place known for breakfast could do better.

Went to have a quick breakfast but an hour later I was still waiting for my second order of all you can eat pancakes. After waiting that long the rest of my food was cold and I was ready to leave! Sorry but if you're going to have a special you should be able to fill it a little quicker then 20 minutes in between orders!!

Horrible experience with curbside take out. Arrived on time for my order and notified the app that I had arrived for my order. After about 10 mins and no one came out with my food, so I called the restaurant and was told that they were still working on my order. Another 10 mins and nothing. Went inside and after lots of confusion about where my order was, I was finally told that they gave my order to the wrong person. And assured that if I stayed my order would be bummed to the front of the cook line and wouldnt take very long and my food would be hot off the stove. So I stayed and what a big mistake because after another 15 mins still no food. I had to ask again when my food would be ready, and was told they were working on it. So after being at ihop for over 1 hour and 30 mins, I finally got my food. Food was okay, and not warm. Employees did not acknowledge that it was their fault and offered to reimburse our meal or even give a discount for the inconvenience of waiting there for that long. Very disappointed and will not being going back again.

Service was great. Food, not so much. , Hashbrowns were cold and not good texture. Bacon was very thin and had no flavor. French toast cold, but the strawberry and banana was good.

Papa was incredibly good at keeping everything moving and engaging with the customers. The rest of the staff also did well but Papa was the driving force of a very enjoyable breakfast.

Please folks.. dont go eat here! I advise everyone to not waste their time.
I waited over an hour for my food in the lobby that I placed an hour prior to picking up my food. Total of 2 hours! What the actual fawk.
Asked for a refund and was told the manager did not show up to work and if I want a refund I'll have to come back tomorrow.
Several people are dealing with the same problem I am right now as I'm writing this review waiting in the lobby....
Nope. Done with this place.
