Haven't had my food yet so I'm mostly rating the service. I'm all of 4 tables mid-day a fully staffed restaurant and waited 7 mins for the wrong beer. :/ meanwhile the server makes food for a coworker. I know because I watched them eat it. Wish I went two doors over for the lamb! O well I write good reviews too js Ok the foods good... worth a try could just be an off day

Honestly was very impressed by this place; I'd passed it several times before, but the fact that it was empty always warded me away. Took a chance and don't regret it at all. Great food, service was friendly although a little overbearing/overattentive, but great tap and cool vibe. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area.

Returned here for lunch to check out the new menu after the reopening. Same average food, same slow service. Bottle of water at the table is nice with real glassware instead of mason jars is an improvement. I had the grilled cheese & onions with mixed greens. It was okay. My friend had mixed greens with seared tuna. Her food look delicious but the portion was huge! She got half of it boxed up for later. One of the servers explained they are still tweaking the menu after being open 7 weeks. Not sure why the service was so slow, since the place was almost empty. It took so long to get our check. 2 different servers came to our table.

Good moves - been a while since I'd been here, but changes have upped the food game. Not only added burgers, but at least one excellent and creative one that I tried with garlic aioli and some glorious reduction sauce - Grand Central Burger, I think it was. Looks like food quality is catching up to their excellent drink offerings. And table service after ordering is a nice move, too. Local sourced food, home-made pickles, other little nice touches add to the all around good experience. Has gone from a nice place to a 'I should come back here again' place for me.

The atmosphere is amazing, the lobby is spacious, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The caprese sandwich with fruit was a great early dinner and was made well and fresh. The mocha I got was sub par--the milk was frothed to be bubbly rather than smooth, but of course Dogwood espresso tastes great. I'm sure the mocha wouldn't normally be made this way, but the staff seemed new. Overall, great experience.

After a year of working hard on getting the right menu and chef, they have nailed it. The food is outstanding - breakfast, lunch & dinner - and the flavors are killer. We had The Hamburger, Chicken & Waffles, and the Beef Au Poivre and all were excellent. We started with the Tomato Poke with Avocado which was also wonderful. We live in the neighborhood and have dined here often, and it has finally come together!!!

I got the California Burger...The burger is huge and very tender, and definitely would order it again. The fries as well were very flavorful. However, I rate it 4/5 because the service wasn't the greatest. I went during lunch hours so we ordered, but I'm not sure how the actual service is for dinner hours.
