I had Carrie as a stylist and she was awesome! This was my first time at a curly hair specialist and was really nervous about getting my hair cut, but she did great and I learned a lot more than I was expecting while talking with her. I've got another appointment scheduled already and can't wait to go back!
Been going here for years and Jess is amazing! As someone who struggles with dermatitis on my scalp she is always kind and I always leave feeling confident! Jess and Morgan are both very talented! Highly recommend 😊
10/10 . I always have a great experience with Justin. Justin is very talented and very nice. I always get so many compliments after seeing him. Scheduling is easy and the salon is clean. My hair feels amazing and I feel amazing.
Carrie at the ChopShop is a curl specialist. If you have naturally curly hair and have been getting a straight hair cut, you need to give a curl by curl (a.k.a Deva cut) cut a go. Carrie is able to give my curls the bounce they loose when they get too grown out. She’s also in the know about product and which ones are “safe” for curlies.
Fast service on short notice with extremely welcoming and friendly staff. The interior is also a small cozy space. Will definitely be going here again when a haircuts needed again.
RJ is INCREDIBLE!!! They are so talented at cutting and coloring. They made me feel so welcome and taken care of every appointment. The experience was immaculate and the talent is undeniable.
Such a great place. Every salon space is bright and clean. Love that they still show community care by continuing to mask. Definitely worth seeking out a stylist here.
Fitz is the best! She did my hair like she can read minds! Not that she can mind you! Amazing cut, worth every penny! I'm super happy! And the shop is clean and comfortable and safe. COVID protections in place really eased my mind going there. Oh and the website is easy to use too!
Helen did an AMAZING job on my hair. My hair is below the shoulders, thick and has a variety of type of waves and texture. The shape of my hair is on point (no heaviness, no weird things poking out, no triangle) and the waves/loose curls have never looked better. And yes, it looked good when I did it myself with 0 skill and 2 minutes of time. I asked her how she made my hair look like this, she said "magic". That was modest -- it was all skill. She is definitely worth the wait to get in as a new client.
Always a great experience at Fitz Barbershop at Chop Shop East. Got a nice clean fresh clipper cut that I love! They are being safe with required masks, hand sanitizer, and distancing.
