Jack Nolen’s is a nice little dive bar in Soulard. Known for their smash burgers which are really good, they should also be recognized for their amazing chicken sandwiches. Freshly made fried chicken breast smothered in their own buffalo sauce. Always taste better when accompanied by a frosty cold beer of choice. Definitely recommend this place.

The "Frank the Tank" burger of the month needs to be kept on the menu ! The flavor is incredible and so satisfying. Goes with any of the fries ( and get an order of deviled eggs ) . Insert taste bud explosion here.

First time in and this place blew me away! Incredibly friendly and professional staff, and Michael helped get us set up with some great drinks. Tried the burger of the month and Firecracker burger with stye fries and all were solid at a decent price point. Vibes of this place are great, can't wait to go back!

Small place inside but they have a patio for warmer weather. Great food, service, and drinks. Will definitely be back. Meant to take photos of food but we ate it too fast. Burgers , chicken sandwich, and the cbgb fries are great!

The food was fairly priced. The taste was amazing and the customer service was great, but highly recommend. Also get the apple pie thing for dessert, it was really good!!!

Food was fantastic. My husband and I had the chicken sandwich and double burger with fries. The house sauce was great dipped everything in it. We ate outside in the patio area. The atmosphere was relaxing.

In my world… and I’m sure in many others.. you all now hold number one for best burger spot in St. Louis. I am very pleased with the service, speed + ESPECIALLY the taste of your delicious food. 🤤 the fries had me in a chokehold.. and the burger patty was seasoned well..

A Soulard gem! Small restaurant, big flavor. Off street parking, small dining room with mostly bar seating and spacious outdoor patio. You order at the end of the bar, take a number, and then wait for your food.
You must get the specialty fries! I ordered the CBGB fries that had gooey beer cheese sauce, grilled onions, and bacon. Those fries alone are one of the best things I've ever eaten. Get the fries!
I chose the Patty Melt, and the special brisket beef mix was the right choice. So good! I haven't had a meal that good in a long time.

The food was fantastic! And the gal working (I believe Jen) was so helpful and kind! The food was delicious, hot, and came out fast. This is a hidden gem. My husband ate the burger special and hasn't stopped talking about it. I tried the fried pork dumplings and I wish I would have tried the dessert ones too! 10/10 will be back!
