First, the wait staff was amazing. They gave my party a great time: lots of laughs and excellent service. Second, the food was delicious. My Aztec omelette was fantastic. I will definitely recommend this deli to my friends.
Fantastic place!! The stuffed cabbage soup is incredible!! A must try! Came back again today and still great food and even better service. Today I had the Matzo ball soup and chopped liver sandwich. The chopped liver was awesome.
My go to Jewish deli in STL. Have not had a negative experience here. Always fan of a custom deli omelette, pastrami and Munster this time around. My dads lox and eggs was massive. Good spot for a meal.
For the best Ruben sandwiches in 2 states Pumpernickles has everyone else beat. Dining room wasn't open cause of Covid. So we ate in the car, but came prepared with roll of paper towels and a bag to put trash in. Please note Ruben there are messy and will need the paper towels.
My visit was just after opening on a Saturday. My omelette was Excellent. The eggs were cooked perfectly. This was my first time visiting Pumpernickles Deli, but won't be my last. Servers were friendly and food was quick to the table.
Get the Smokey Louey sandwich!!! Super good, lots of fish, goes great with the vinegar slaw.
Nice, clean place. Food was excellent. Would have given 5 stars except waffle maker was broke and they had cinnamon rolls on the menu, but didnt have any made
Great deli with amazing Reubens and Matzo ball soup! The pickles that come with the meal set this place apart.
Great food, great service...the meat knish is amazing
This was such a good experience! That food was so wonderful, everything had that good homemade taste to it, like being back at Grandma's when I was a kid. That alone would have been great, but to top it off the staff was super friendly and helpful. Even the other patrons were pleasant, everyone just
Great brunch all day at a good price point. Careful of how much you order because the servings are huge! 😅 Service is a bit slow, but they have a large table-to-server ratio so they work hard to get orders out.
I enjoy coming here with my kids on the weekends for breakfast, and they always have great food. I also stop in every now and then to grab their chopped liver which is fantastic. The Matzo Ball soup is huge, the kasha and shells are great, and we also love their big breakfast combo's with pancakes b
I don't give many 5 star reviews. Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was fantastic. The best part was listening to how they handled their regulars special requests. Just an overall fun experience.
One of the best Reubens in STL, will definitely be back for more.
