Carmen's Cafe

This was a nice bar. The inside had more of a dim light setting. The crowd was that of people in their mid to 20s to mid 30s. Everyone was pretty much in their own groups enjoying their own company. The music was up-to-date. They served Hookah but im not sure about food. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The front door security person however was too stern and not too friendly in my opinion. It's a cash only bar but they do have an ATM inside. The only thing that I didnt like was the neighborhood in which it was located as it's a little sketchy. Other than that I had a great first time experience here.

It was my 1st time visiting this bar/grill good food freshly cooked and seasoned to perfection...The waitresses are cute an attentive drinks are good...it's a cash bar or use the ATM you can get a game of darts,pool, are shoot some buckets of basketball. Sports on the T.V.s are listen to the music playing. Casual dress and security in and out the bar.

This place is Soulard away from Soulard during lunch hours (if you know what I mean) at night I can see this growing into a cool family friendly neighborhood bar and grill. It's very roomy with games for the kids and booze for the adults. Beechwood has the cleanest bathrooms EVER! Im a germaphobe and they don't make me cringe at all. The food is Applebees or Friday style. Enjoy
