Chef Rob Conneley has given people a real treat with affordable, yet suprising complex cuisine. These aren't your typical breakfast options. Every dish is unique and reasonably portioned. The "hyper local" approach is impressive and shows the level of care and thoughtfulness put into everything they
Pretty much everything about this place is great. If you are seeing a show at the Fox in the early afternoon, this is a good place to get some brunch before you head over. All the food is produced locally, and the presentation and flavor combinations of the dishes we ordered was perfectly balanced
Comfortable and casual place with high quality food and drink for a fair price. We were lucky as it wasn’t too crowded when we went. So we sat at the counter and were able to talk to the chef and owner, Rob and soul chef Justin. Impressive that they can make such local and well executed cuisine with
It's difficult to describe this place because it's so different from the usual restaurant. The menu is the most unusual--pecan tofu anyone? But the flavors are brilliant. Try anything; it will be great. Service is very friendly and quick. You can sit in the theater in the back if it's crowded up
Love this little cafe! Sailor(I hope I spelled it right) is such a sweetheart and definitely topped off the dining experience. I recommend the yogurt and the brekkie bowl. Amazing! They also had these nifty chocolates that look like they fell from the galaxy~
Rob puts a touch of brilliance into every dish. His food is as far from boring and basic as it can be. If you're looking for a spot that has delicious and entirely unique food come here. Many ingredients are selected from local farmers. His spicing is highly original and borrows culinary brilliance
Food was very good. Well plated, not drown in oil or salt so the flavors could come thru. Nice combination of tastes. Coffee was just ok. Both we got came out on the cooler side. Ambiance was ok. There was apparently a show at kdhx the day we were there and the room filled with non-patrons (it's in
Went for breakfast. Service was quick and good. I think it is linked to a local radio station but didn’t quite figure it out. Yogurt and granola bowl was huge and more than enough. Tasty compote too.
We sat at the bar and truly enjoyed ourselves. It was a busy time but everyone was very friendly. Had the grits and eggs with today and it was delicious.
Food is tasty, creative, and always so beautiful. Rob, the chef, will sometimes take time to say hello and explain a dish. Have been at least 3 times and will return.
