Contemporary Art Museum - Saint Louis - Photo album

Didn’t know what to expect coming here. Museum is free. Upstairs they have art from High school kids talking about equity & equality. Downstairs there’s more adult art from when we visited. Very abstract, thought provoking, graphic. Don’t bring kids to the downstairs there is nudity. Very fun place.
A vibrant midtown museum with rotating exhibition of amazing artists from world over. It’s all free and ample parking available around the building. The large space with some video- audio displays are very interesting touch. A small cafe with a nice outdoor space to have a cup of cappuccino!
Great place to enjoy art, plus it’s free!
My husband and I were lucky to be able to have our wedding reception at CAM. Bonnie, the events manager, helped make our day incredibly magical! People have been raving about it, and I can't get over how beautiful and joyful it was in the performance space. I am so grateful for all the time, energy,
This place is an amazing way to spend a weekend afternoon without spending money. The art exhibits are interesting and there are lots of things to look at. The building itself was very modern and cool.
Visited to celebrate Juneteenth. There were fun activities for the kids, tons of bubbles outside and a great ice cream food truck.
Saint Louis is a city that.is lucky to have such a vibrant arts scene, and one of the crowning jewels.is the Contemporary Art Museum. Tucked away in Grand Center, the CAM is FREE to all guests and provides several galleries of cutting-edge, thoughtful, and thought-provoking work. Stop by often and
This is a free museum to see art and experience art. I only had a short time to visit, so I only saw the exhibit called "Hum." It was very unique and informative. I would recommend seeing this exhibit
Stopped by here on a whim and was glad we did. My kids loved the displays and the area upstairs where they could make their own art. I'm sure we will be returning at some point in time.
Very nice welcome when walking in, good explanation of all the art works. Space is well used, very simple but beautiful. The art works are updated regularly, hence always having a different environment. Not familiar with art in general, but definitely worth checking out and it's totally free.
The Basquiat Installation is amazing. Very well done. It's such a great venue for his works, very contemporary style. I love the children's room upstairs with appropriately themed books and toys for the visiting art Installation. Everything in the upstairs Children's room was Basquiat themed. And t
Loved it. The building itself is art. Very friendly staff that was enthusiastic to inform us about everything. The art there now was fantastic. Will definitely return.
A must go to place in STL. Free exhibits and tons of events year round. Rise cafe is pretty awesome, and there's lots of active and open community involvement here. It's hard to imagine this place being much better for the arts. Conveinent hours and easy parking. Consistently interesting exhibitions
A great, and free, contemporary art museum, the collection is a small but ever-changing exhibit, that is housed in a great building. Its proximity to the Pulitzer Foundation for the arts makes it a great visit. The building would be a fine work by itself, but it suffers from by comparison to its nei
This is an exceptional space located at the Art District. Free to the public and has very interesting art exhibitions. As the name suggests, this is a space for contemporary art with very diverse art work and an wide array of art programs for children.
Incredibly engaging, a great place to wander and have an emotional experience, a place that makes it feel like there's no right or wrong answer to have about art. Enchanting to walk through. Very kind docents. I never felt awkward or pressured to move on from a space before I was ready. One even tu
