Ihop

It only took me moments to be waited on, and the waiter's name was Carl he was an exceptional part of IHOP. He was always kind courteous, had a smile on his face, and didn't make us wait long to get whatever I needed. The cook was an exceptional cook too my pancakes were fluffy light Airy ,my eggs were delicious cook just like I wanted. I can not say anything that wouldn't make your mouth water and make you want to come back or make it a favorite place to visit.

At the time I came in (yes I enjoy a late night meal) the dining area was closed off. One could only order take out or delivery from a third party. It was cool. From where I could see the restaurant was clean. They were efficient in taking orders. My only concern was that I called before arrival and didn't get an answer. Another customer stated they never answer the phones here. I had bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on top and fries. The burger was juicy, bacon crisp. My fries were cold which surprised me. The other party had breakfast. It was cooked to order.

This IHOP has been at the Clayton, MO location forever and the food and atmosphere is still goodI recommend the 55 senior special that gives you a lot of choices. The air conditioning is just too much. You have to eat fast or your food gets cold. The buttermilk pancakes is my favorite dish. The bathroom was clean but needed updating.

From the time we walked into this place, we felt welcome. The man running the seating was great! We had a 10 top, so they did everything they could to accommodate us. We were from out of town visiting St. Lous for a mini vacation. We waited for a bit but no big deal. As soon as we were seated, we were greeted by our waitress, who was absolutely amazing from the start. She was very attentive and very thorough. We never had to wait for refills. Our food came to our table fast, and everything was correct. I dont usually leave reviews, but i think it needs to be known how friendly the staff was to us and how promptly everything was handled. Im not sure of their names, but she had pink hair. Great job, guys and gals! I know a lot more restaurants could learn some customer service from you. Bravo!! This was on 08/20/2023. Go visit them. I highly recommend this place!
