Reviews Sandrina's

5 stars doesn't really cover this for me. I've used terms like "friendly staff" before in other reviews, but this place takes it to a whole new level. I was blown away by how friendly the staff was (especially the bar manager, kudos!) The food was excellent, and where a lot of restaurants either have a vegetarian option or two, or are vegetarian focused, this place had a fantastic balance of having yummy vegetarian options but also had plenty of stuff for non vegetarians, which makes it excellent for mixed groups. One item in particular - a vegetarian version of toasted ravioli is something that I have been wanting to find for a long time. If you can't tell yet, I was really taken by this place. I can't wait to go back to try their vegetarian brunch on a Sunday or just for another good meal. Highly, highly recommended.

Restaurant/bar that does well at both. Great feel with all the woodworking. They pride themselves on a strong menu. No patio but a little sidewalk seating. I've got to make another trip here soon.

A really great place for truly great food in a great location. The menu features everything from comfort food to really tasty, chef-inspired entrees. The five stars is easily locked in through the solid offering of vegetarian items. As of the time of this posting, the bar is temporarily closed, but it should not stop you from grabbing lunch or dinner. In the evenings when the bar is open, it is relatively uncrowded until after 10 pm when it really picks up. Drinks are cheap and poured well.

I had a lemon drop! It was the strongest I've ever had, I was a very happy camper!! The food was pretty tasty as well! It was a pretty nice place to chill in. There is bar sitting and tables as well. The bartender was really nice as well.. I'll most definitely give this place another go.

Nice bar to hang out at. Went with friends from kickball and it was good. The food was delicious, I got the brisket sandwich and it was a behemoth if brisket and sauce that filled me for hours. The brunch us also fantastic and a steal for the price because the food is that good!

They always make us feel at home and the food is absolutely amazing! So fresh and the salad with beets is wonderful. We have never had a bad dining experience there and have dined at Sandrina's at least 25 times over the past few years. The chef will come out of the kitchen to make sure you had an enjoyable meal. Bartenders and servers are great. For the late night crowd it is perfect! You can get a real meal at 1am!

Seriously some of the best food in all of St Louis and they are own and serving LATE. Excellent bar with friendly and hip staff. Sandrina's is the perfect place to end a night out on the town in St. Louis. Whether you're hungry for a full, top notch meal or just one of their incredible appetizers to go with one of their excellent cocktails, you'll be glad you stopped in here.

Sandrina's has a comfortable, casual setting with a neighborhood restaurant feel. We walked in to a very welcoming, helpful staff, and friendly customers. This was my first visit, but I've driven by this place on many late nights, and it always seems decently busy for late night, even weeknights. It's just popular enough with the late night crowd not to be too crowded. I'm sure it's popular because of the good food, great service, ANNNNND they serve their FULL menu, with a WIDE variety of choices, until 2:00AM! Not many places offer THAT! Service was pretty fantastic! And, no, I'm NOT exaggerating. We sat at a table in the bar room, late night for dinner, and got great service, (better than we get at many restaurants)! The bartender's name was Rocky, and he came to our table to take our order and was our server. He was very pleasant and friendly; he checked in on us just frequently enough during our meal to make sure we had everything we wanted. He asked to fill our beverages before we even thought about it. We even had a few brief conversations about a common interest. Personable and courteous; he served up some good vibes with our meal! 😊 Nice job, thanks, Rocky! 😁 The food was delicious! Their nachos can be topped with chicken, steak, or portabello mushrooms as heartier fare, but we ordered our nachos as they come. We were served a full platter of deliciousness baked piping hot on an airy, crispy, pita-like bread/tortilla. SO tasty! MUCH better than the traditional tortilla chip nachos that most restaurants offer. These came loaded with delectable toppings...black beans, which were cooked in red wine; this gave them an aromatic, palate-brightening flavor. Great idea! The nachos were topped with a good amount of hot melted cheddar cheese, a robust chunky salsa, rich sour cream, and some jalapeno slices for a little kick. They were super good! The lady who had apparently made our food, walked by our table at some point during our meal and she noticed that I had pulled the jalapenos to the side of my nachos. She said to just let her know next time and she'll put them on the side, or hold them. I had forgotten to order them on the side, but I was pretty impressed that she even noticed! And then she took the time to stop and say something to improve my experience the next time. Way to go! (I'm already extremely pleased THIS time!!! πŸ˜„) We also ordered the Dad's Burger with onion rings. The burger was large and thick and juicy! The onion rings were fried to perfection, a crispy golden brown...they were really something special, and worth the trip in itself...yum! We also ordered a "build your own" 10" thin crust pizza with black beans, black olives, mushrooms, and roasted red peppers. I know, I know, strange combination, lol, what can I say? ...but it was the bomb! πŸ•πŸ’ž Of course, I was too full from the nachos to eat much pizza, 😳 so they gave me a few boxes for the leftover food. And so, today, I had an awesome lunch to boot! 😎 Sandrina's is a rare, hidden gem! πŸ’Ž I already know that I won't just be driving by it πŸš— in the future; they're gonna come to know me by name...for all the good reasons! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸπŸŒŸ

This place was everything I needed it to be when I wasn't even aware that I was in fact in need. I received a warm reception upon entering. I was promptly told of their specials, which happened to include a very tasty and hearty vegetable stew...it was delightful. Then there were the nachos. The flour tortilla chips are flaky, airy, and delicious. The amount of food you get for the price is plentiful. Sandrina's has certainly taken a the top spot on my favorite places list. I have nary a complaint about my experience here.

The place is pretty dive-y but the food was pretty good. We ended up doing takeout but I'm curious the scene of locals at night. The toasted vegetarian ravioli was highly recommend to us and it did not disappoint.

I've eaten here several times and I can admit service can be slow at times but never has it lacked in friendliness or quality of service!!! The food is delicious and ALWAYS say yes to the Gouda cheese dip! I dig your late hours and strong drinks!

Cheap booze and gourmet food served until 3 am. Cant find that virtually anywhere else. The staff is amazing as well. Great place for excellent food and a reasonable price. Can get really busy after 1 on weekends but worth the crowd

This is a laid back neighborhood bar. If you're expecting 5 star michelin service go somewhere else. The food is tasty, the drinks are affordable and the staff is friendly. Where else will they let you keep your tab open while you walk home to google hangout with your kids?

I can tell you this about Sandrinas, the food is great, and most of the staff that was worthless is gone or on their way out. New blood is coming in including new key leadership roles to keep them at the highest standards. Give them another try if you had a bad experience in the past. You won't be disappointed.

If you're looking for food super late, this is the best 3am in the city. They serve food until 2am, and there's not a bad thing on the menu. It's always a great time at Sandrinas.
