Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

I used to love this location but tonight (7/28/23) I had to deal with an incompetent and very unprofessional "manager" who felt it was more important for him to open the door to the lobby to have food dropped off to him than to give me the items in my order that I didn't receive in the drive thru. I shouldn't have to get irate and get into shouting match with a "man" who has a fragile ego in order to get a correct order. We called each other some choice words but I guess his little feelings got hurt because he proceeded to come around the counter and walk towards the door ready to fight. I didn't get his name of course but it shouldn't be hard to figure out who was in charge tonight.

There was a wait for the order I placed through the drive-thru. This was good with me because to me, it meant the order would be fresh. While waiting I thought of additional side items I wanted to order. The building was locked. I was a bit annoyed and mentioned this when my order was given to me. The supervisor stated he had to close the doors due to being short staffed. I appreciate his professionalism. He also threw in an extra order of jalapeno peppers for my wait. Thank You!

We got dinner from the Lees in Normandy (on Natural Bridge, near Lucas and Hunt). It was quick, ordering was simple and the staff was courteous and attentive. There was no one ahead of us in line. We were in and out in 5 minutes or less. The food was hot, accurate, and delicious. Grateful for experiences like this in our local community!
