Had the pork belly bbq! Delicious! Staff was AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back again!

I’ve been dining at Joo Joo with friends and family at least like once a month for the past two years, and I love it every single time I go there. The food is invariably delicious, the service exemplary, and the atmosphere is comfortable and always conducive to a great time. From the appetizers (seafood pancake, my beloved), to the banchan, to the kbbq and hotpot and other entrees (kimchi samgyupsal, grilled mackerel, assorted jjigae, etc), I’ve never been disappointed by the food offered at Joo Joo. I love this restaurant! My favorite!! Can’t wait to eat here again, even though I just went last week!!!

Popped by this place without a reservation on a Saturday night and got a table for bbq in about 10 minutes and a karaoke room after! We got bulgolgi, but because they don't have vents, it was a hot pot situation instead of the grill. It's still excellent but not exactly what we expected. Karaoke was fun, we stayed 2 hours and they had top hits. The staff were outstanding, though! So friendly and helpful all around. Will return every time I come to St. Louis!

Really good place for Korean Bbq. Kimchi is exceptional! And the servers are so nice and helpful! The pork is delicious too. Make sure you try the spicy squid!

Best Korean kimchi soup in St.Louis! It came out boiling hot and well seasoned, added jalapeños guaranteed spiciness. It has rice cakes and clear noodles in the soup and sides are given at the start of the course with a Side of white rice.
The Korean bbq here is done on a griddle, not grills that are built into the table. Next time I go I’ll try the meats.
The line was long and moved pretty fast. On a weekend night it gets pretty crowded, I would suggest getting there a bit earlier to wait in line.

Best Korean food in St Louis I’ve ever had! The hotpot is so good. Looks normal at first but as it boiled for a while, the cheese melted and the smell of it came out. The flavor is strong and moderately spicy. I love it. Also the seafood pancakes are good.

Stopped here with some friends for the first time and was not disappointed in the entire experience!
We chose the BBQ grill and a beef bulgogi for dinner. For those who are unfamiliar with Korean BBQ grills or hot pot, they basically bring you your meats and sides and let you cook your own way with your own toppings. It's more of a fun experience than anything.
The staff is also super helpful and will help you or cook for you if you are having trouble.
This location also has karaoke but we opted not to do that this time.

I made reservations here for a friend's birthday dinner and karaoke. The service was exceptional- going above and beyond when taking care of us during dinner and in the karaoke room. Our server was so kind and warm. When we finished dinner and went to the karaoke room, she gave explicit instructions paired with a cheatsheet on how to operate karaoke.
The space is well-decorated, inviting, and spacious. My only complaint is how bland my dinner was. I ordered ramen and I felt that making a packet of ramen at home would have had more flavor than what I received at dinner. There wasn't even any protein in it- eggs, chicken, or anything. That alone would have improved the flavor and justified the cost. I paid around $14 for some plain broth and noodles.
As for the karaoke portion- our group spent far less time than what our reservation was made for. Staff was accommodating and made sure to take care of us and treated the birthday girl.
