Let's begin by saying: this restaurant deserves to be on the front page of Yelp, TripAdvisor, or whatever it might be. You won't find a better place that does Arabic cuisine in St. Louis. To top it off, the owner once went out of their way to contact me via Facebook to let me know I left my wallet at their restaurant. This place... what can I say? It's raised the bar so high for me that even as I write this review from Denver, Colorado, I still frequently have thoughts about how delicious the food here was. Before we start on the food, let's talk about the restaurant itself. Upon entrance, The Palm Trees has a clean, humble decoration with decorative tables and various displays of arts. Walk in a bit deeper, and you'll find more seating options that truly unlock the beauty & hospitality of this restaurant. If you aren't greeted with the traditional music, soccer might be on the TV. Nothing about this place feels overdone or contrived. Let's talk about the dishes. I've tried just about everything here, and I will tell you this: the appetizers are fantastic, as well as any of the main dishes. Best falafel in St. Louis, hands down. The Lamb/Chicken Kabsa is an incredible dish in which the meat simply falls apart the instant it comes into contact with silverware, which is of course optional. The Bryani is fantastic, the Koshary is a wonderful & aromatic vegetarian/vegan alternative. I won't hold back and say that their wraps aren't the greatest. If you must, the Palm Trees Falafel Sandwich is solid, but just do yourself a favor and order the Kabsa.

Stopped by last night and was not disappointed. We had the hummus, sambusa, and falafel to start. The hummus was the best I've had but of the three, the sambusa was my favorite - really delicate pastry and great flavors all around. My parents had the shish tawook, I had the shawarma wrap, and my boyfriend had the lamb kabsa. Everyone left full and happy. The food was cooked perfectly - tender meat, perfectly spiced, and good portions. Our waiter was friendly and attentive but didn't hover or check on us excessively. They had Saudi music videos playing on the tv after a soccer game wrapped up. We really liked this and the workers must really like it too - we could hear a few of them singing along from the back! All in all, really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

AMAZING!! My sister and I went here for lunch at the food was fantastic and service fast and polite. We shared the Lebnah, Fatoush Salad, and Lamb Mandi. They were all so great and we still had leftovers! They let us know that during Ramadan there will be an evening buffet every night! Excited to return!

Loved the Palm Trees. I ordered a chicken and rice dish and was given nearly half the bird! It tasted phenomenal and I had so many leftovers. The atmosphere was lovely and I have to say, my husband was mesmerized by the Saudi concert they had playing on the TV. Very enjoyable and we will be back.

As a Saudi Arabian person, this restaurant offers the best and tastiest Saudi food and traditional Saudi style of setting (ask for it and don’t miss it!) The lamp was very tender. Friendly staff and quick services. Genres amount of food comparing to the price.

Went with a friend to Cherokee Street to eat. We were both struck by the amount of restaurants, so my friend called a couple people for recommendations. Both said that The Palms was their favorite. We were not disappointed. Very good food and very friendly staff. We had soup to start, then two different lamb and rice dishes that we shared. Delicious! I will be back again.

I really liked this Middle Eastern restaurant. They were serving good options that taste as close as possible to the original recipes that prepare in the Arabic countries. The owner was nice and was personally checking with us. I recommend this place to anyone wants to have an Arabic lunch.
