Pita Plus Co

This place has been there for 20+ years. It’s a great carry out staple although you can eat there also. Food is always very good and the owner behind the counter is always helpful, nice and courteous. I would definitely recommend the place. I never needed to order ahead. Food prep has always taken five minutes or less regardless of what I order.

Ok I have to admit I was very nervous! My original lunch plans fell through so I needed to find an alternative. Didn’t want the everyday go to lunch i.e. burger, chicken, salad… so HERE I AM. My food was DELICIOUS👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. I ordered the Gyro Lamb/Beef Pita and Falafel. Both were seasoned and extremely tasty. Nothing was dry at all. Falafel was a tiny bit spicy BUT I don’t eat spicy food sooooo what’s spicy to me may not bother you at all. But as I stated, it was good. I ate a portion for lunch and saved a little taste for later. Couldn’t get back home fast enough to finish it.. LOL Will I order again?!?!? I've been going to Pita Plus for years now and I'm a big fan. I thought I'd write a review because most of the other reviews mention gyros and falafel, which are great, but I thought I'd mention the egg salad pita. It is delicious! They use spices that aren't typical in the American version - not overwhelming, just adds a new touch. They also include fresh veggies, which I really like as well (diced white onion, cucumber, tomato, and lettuce, with a pickle spear on the side). As some others have mentioned, the burekas are really yummy, too!

Delicious falafel sandwich!!! A "must order" full of great flavors.. pic of sandwich doesn't do it justice .. should also add that the size of this sandwich is generous/filling, comes with pita chips & tahini dressing...I've tasted the hummus as an add on to my sandwich and I loved it & want to try the baklava in the near future.

My daughter and I tried this the other day and the food was wonderful. I am more familiar with Greek and this is more Middle Eastern flavors (so tahini instead of tzaki for example). We were both very happy and will go back. My daughter got the traditional gyro and I got their Chicken and rice plate. Both were excellent and far too much food for us to eat in one setting. I recommend that you give this place a try!
