The beef and cabbage stew is delicious! The last time I got it, it only had two chunks of beef in it, which was pretty disappointing. I love their doner salad. Their salad portion sizes are great and I am always happy with the taste! The staff has been hit or miss, not always the friendliest. But, they also probably need more staff being they make everything as it is ordered and they’re always SO busy. The inside is VERY small so if it’s busy and you are sitting at a table in the center, you feel like people are standing almost on top of you. The photo is of the doner salad when I got it to-go.

This is one of the best meals I’ve had all year! Our group tried 6+ different things on the menu. Pita was delish. Save room for dessert!

Wow! Worth the Uber trip from downtown St. louis Hyatt Hotel to J’s Piterija. We were at the conference and learned that Bosnian community has been here for the past 30 years… we had burek and cevapi and it was like we were in Bascarsija, Sarajevo. Will definitely come again if I ever return to MO.

I tried J's last weekend, and the food was fabulous! It a hard to decide what to try, as there were many tasty sounding options. I ended up trying the Berliner, which was filled with things in combination that I hadn't tried before. The sandwich was huge and filling, extremely delicious! It was a great value for the money, and I'll definitely be back to try other interesting sandwiches.

Travelled to Türkiye a few weeks ago and liked the pide at J’s better than the several pide we had in Istanbul. Ordered the pide, berliner, and hummus - all were incredible quality and big servings. Good work J’s!

My mom and I discovered this place a few months ago and we have been back many times already. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their staff is super nice and helpful. I cannot say enough about how great this food is.

There is something so wonderful about experiencing the pride someone takes in their business and quality of food. All the food here is made to order and we were impressed with how truly delicious everything was. Maybe I was just starving, but the hummus was some of the best I've ever had. You can just tell that the ingredients they use are quality and fresh. It's too bad I don't live in STL because I'd be coming here way too often!

Drove an hour out to try this. Had the Berliner and was impressed by the juiciness of the meat. Sandwich was incredibly big and stayed in tact after every bite! Owner was really nice and made sure i was satisfied despite the restaurant being pretty busy. Will make my way back to try more dishes they have to offer, worth the drive.

First time visiting this gem of a restaurant. When you first walk in the first thing that hits you is the amazing aroma of the baked bread. We ordered an appetizer of the Toasted Somun Bread and Kajmak. It was just amazing! We followed that up with both the Berliner and J's Maslenica. Both were great, but the Berliner was the best thing we had all night. I would caution though if you order bread for an app, I would look at their salads. It was just a lot of bread....delicious bread, but a lot.

Unassuming Mediterranean restaurant tucked into a shopping center in South County. The cozy restaurant is beautifully decorated and smells amazing. You can order ahead of time, which I recommend. There are so many options from sides to meals to choose from. Everything is freshly prepared and full of flavor. This was our first visit, so we went with the popular options. I opted for the Chicken Panini, my husband got the Cheesesteak, and my son got the Stuffed Flatbread. Everyone agreed that it was some of the best Mediterranean food we have had! Can't wait to come back and try a few new things.
