Review Vp Square - Saint Louis

Tucker Butler
Great place to grab a tasty bubble tea! Located off of Grand, on Jaunita Street in Tower Grove. VP Square has a large selection of bubble tea flavors as well as add in options like tapioca pearls, jellies, and popping boba. VP Square also has a dining room where you can grab a bite of Asian cuisine. Check out the happy hour at this place (great deals on food and drinks). I have eaten here in the past and highly recommend the food here.

I don't think I can offer enough praise for this place. The one in person visit was great, with a few tables setup on the sidewalk. The staff recommendations were spot on, and the food was glorious. Since when, I've ordered it 4-5 times for delivery via Uber Eats. I've yet to have a dish was anything but amazing. I did not think they'd be able to outdo the Sriracha shrimp, but the coconut shrimp somehow managed it.

This place wasn't bad. Decent food that was reasonably priced in my opinion. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen, asain crepe, siracha shrimp and bubble milk tea. The tonkatsu ramen wasn't very flavorful as it lacks that rich creamy tonkatsu broth. The crepe tasted good but it could have been crispier. The siracha shrimp tasted good as well but nothing special. Their bubble tea was sweeter than normal milk tea and lacked actual tea taste. I personally stay away from Asian restaurants that have a variety of Asian cusine but this was one I don't regret trying. Next time I come I will try the hotpot and other dishes that seemed interesting. I definitely need to try more of their dishes as I think this place has potential.

I got this delivered to me while dine-in options were closed for the pandemic and it came quickly (through DoorDash) and arrived still hot. The bibimbap is good but I'm craving more of the meat and less mushrooms. The meat and the egg I think is the best part of the bibimbap. The housemade crab rangoons were a surprising shape but good, I think it came with 6, maybe 5 because I had already eaten some before I took the picture.

Great food, great bubble tea, great service. We got the crab Rangoon, Hawaiian poke bowl, VP fried chicken, pineapple bubble tea and Thai tea bubble tea. Good location but parking is a a little tight in front of the building but you can go down the block a bit and parking opens up.

Had the tonkotsu ramen. Rich broth, not too salty. Noodles were nice and chewy. Went on a Saturday at 1 and it was not busy at all. Will have to come back to try some of the other things on the menu

The store gas been closed with no explanation for about a week and I am just sick with grief. There aren't any updates anywhere so idk what to expect. I hope everyone is okay and all is well. Plz god, it's the first & best ramen I've ever tasted.

Wow! This is the best Asian restaurant outside of U City. A variety of cuisines - Vietnamese, Korean, & Japanese - all perfectly executed. Start with the unique egg-encrusted shrimp wontons. The bibimbap and tofu yaki-udon were both delicious. A great addition to the international restaurants in the S. Grand neighborhood!

Got carryout, great service, amazing food, some of the best crab rangoon I've ever had, wonderful ramen!

This is definitely a hidden gem! One of the top foods I've tasted in the world. The head chef/manager there, JT is an artist with his recipes! Can not wait to come back!!!

I've ordered twice now to make sure it wasn't a fluke! Korean bulgogi, tuna tartare, and steak salad - DELICIOUS! I DEFINITELY recommend this place!

I'm surprised I hadn't heard about this place before today. We got bubble tea and a couple of lunch specials. The bubble tea was delicious. I got black milk tea with mango jelly and my girlfriend got lychee. Both were excellent, it was hard to slow myself down so I didn't drink it too quickly. The food was good, would recommend the Bento box.

VP Square was a wonderful dining experience for my first time there. My family has been there several times before and had nothing but good things to say about the place. Has a unique characteristic vibe with all the different textures & visuals. From the antler lighting above tables and chairs that look industrial. My family sat in the corner next to the windows with a bench sit made of metal and has a half back with a soft plush bottom which mimics animal hide. Dining on 1st or 2nd floors. As for the food; everything that had touched my taste buds was delicious from the starter's to our actual entree's. So fresh, crisp ingredients that are paired together so well. Like each flavor was carefully orchestrated in a way that it just a explosion of flavors. Also has a great selection of beverages including their Bubble Tea's. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful which is a plus for any establishment. I myself am going to be back very soon. Most definitely recommend VP Square for a excellent dining experience.

Incredible food, incredible service. Their boba and ramen is top notch! I love coming here and picking up food for our office. Everything is always organized, on time and DELICIOUS! Plus, everyone at my office can find something they love (gluten-free, vegan, etc.), which is a big deal for our diverse workplace.

My wife and I came here because of a Sauce Magazine recommendation and we were not disappointed. Fantastic restaurant with creative and delicious twists to mostly Vietnamese dishes, but also some other international ones. The Summer spring rolls are some of the best we've tried and the Hawaiian Poke was just perfect. Highly recommend and definitely some of the best bang for the buck you can get.

I've been twice with a friend. We eat 'family style'. So far 6 dishes and it is so amazingly delicious, we cannot choose one favorite! We are taking on the task of going every week and getting through the amazing menu entirely! An absolute must eat, great service and a lovely cozy restaurant!

I got the tofu curry and vegetable spring rolls. Don't expect your veggies swimming in curry. DO expect a good balance of heat. The spring rolls we're light and crispy and paired well with the sweet sauce. I'm looking forward to going back to try the bahn mi. One final note - the restaurant is very cool and setup for sharing, so bring a group - you won't be sorry!!!

Excellent addition to the South Grand dining scene. Hard to categorize in a single cuisine category. Generally Vietnamese... but with twists. Lots of creative and unique twists on standard fare. Summer Rolls with strawberry slices. Shrimp Wontons encrusted in egg. Special Fried Rice. All excellent. I've loved everything I've eaten there. Highly recommended.

Wish I had discovered this place before yesterday. Really nice lunch. They don't try to offer a particular eclectic Asian cuisine, but we were all very happy with our meals (and teas), and some of our younger eaters are somewhat picky. Helpful staff explained the options well.

I was excited about the good reviews, but still wary of "asian fusion." But it turned out to be excellent! Had the O-Miso and the Cornish Hen (so crispy!) I went to Japan earlier this summer and had lots of great ramen there, and this place is my #2 after the OG Ippudo in Kyoto. After we left my girlfriend pointed out the chefs were Asian, which we appreciated. The vibe was surprisingly fancy and the quality of food is remarkable for the price point (or any price point for that matter). It is definitely good value. Service was excellent, and the menu is a great variety without overlap. I'm looking forward to trying more of it! Only disappointment was that the King and I was overflowing while this place had only a few diners : (

Amazing!! We ordered the lettuce wraps, egg encrusted shrimp wonton, and the crab rangoon... all delicious. The crab Rangoon was very unique, lots of crab flavor and much more gourmet than expected! The entree we ordered was Bibmibap— insane. The beef and chicken were incredible and the sauces were so good. We finished every last piece of rice just to get the sauces!

This is one of the best places in St. Louis if you’re looking for Ramen. They also have a very impressive menu that’s reasonable priced. It reminds me of restaurants in Los Angeles. This place will easily become a gem within our city.

Lettuce wraps and tuna tartare were great. Also tried two of the ramens and both broths were excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Maybe the best won tons I’ve ever had. The ramen was good, not great, but I’ve never had crunchy noodles in my soup like that before. I’ll be back for sure to try other dishes. Great addition to the neighborhood.

The banh mi are excellent. We also had the special fried rice which was very good. My husband tried the apple sake and I am on my 3rd bubble tea. Highly recommend

So good! I'm really glad that this place is open now. I got three appetizers for dinner, and they were all excellent.
Alissa Simone
Went there yesterday and had the Bibimbap and matcha bubble tea. Both were great!!! A must try for those who haven't been!!!
Carolyn Gordon
Love this place! Delicious food, excellent service, and lovely decor. We’re coming back!

The best Crab Rangoon I have ever had! I also had the a grilled Chicken Salad and it was also very good.
Travis Hughes
The food was incredible! The service was nice too! My only advice to the staff is to maybe explain a little more in detail how to handle the ingredients with the boiling pot. We have never had a dish like this before and we were not sure how long to soak the meat and vegetables and tofu in the bubbling broth. Besides the lack of instruction it was very exciting to experience and delicious! OH and the mango boba drink with the exploding mango bubbles is too good to describe! Just order one! You will not be disappointed.

The Tuna Tartar and Bibimbap are must orders!!! Great new spot!

Best bubble tea I've ever had, and i usually don't like bubble tea
Nancy Petty Bengtson
Crab Rangoon was light and crispy. The crepes and salad were wonderful. So fresh and flavorful. The crepes were more egg and veggies than pancake so it was more healthy too. I enjoy the minimal use of sauces too.

After several visits, I can't possibly give them anything but 5 stars. Everything I've tried has been delicious

We Stopped by this afternoon to pick up a couple Banh Mi Sandwiches and Boba Tea to take with us for an afternoon picnic at Tower Grove Park. The number of choices for your Boba/Bubble Tea was great. I was rather impressed with the variety of combos you could create. The fact that they have the film lids you have to stab your straw through makes it seem even better to me. I kind of wish they had a fun design on the film like I have seen at other places, but I understand that isn't the style they are going for. The Banh Mi Sandwiches were both wonderful. He got the Ham Combo, I tried the Chargrilled Pork Belly. Both had great flavors. Although he thought there was a bit to much bread for his liking. Overall we enjoyed our meal and plan on eating here again. Maybe next time we will try dining in. The other menu items look delicious. I am delighted there is a new place that has so many options of Boba/Bubble Tea in the area. I will be back for more!!!
