Came here on a Saturday for lunch, the place was quite crowded, very popular it seems. They had the ordering system down though and we got through the line pretty quickly. Seating is limited, but they have some spots outside as well. Food was all very very good! We got the companion Lotto duos (half sandwich, half salad/soup). I highly recommend trying the Fowl Weather sandwich - the pepper jelly is so tasty! The roasted peach salad and the green chili potato chowder were also excellently flavored and spiced. Think of this place as a local, better quality St Louis Bread Co 😋

Love this place! Locally owned and so well run! Food is fantastic. Run don’t walk to Companion! You won’t be disappointed.

Always crowded and loud. But the food is really good. They also are pretty good at fulfilling online orders.

The food was excellent. We sat outside and there was no service.

Very busy @ lunch time, quick service. Good sandwiches, soups, scones and cookies. Coffee and assortment of sodas and tea.

The best jalapeno cheddar scone I've ever had.

They closed the Companion closer to my house, but it is worth the little extra drive for this food! I still think you make the best reuben! You all do quite the business during lunch so I suggest ordering online! It was very very busy when I went to pick up my order but it was all ready to go when I arrived so I was thankful for that!

Mocha chip muffin is possibly the best muffin I've ever eaten. Still warm, on occasion. I wonder why I'm even leaving a review, worried that others will beat me in to buy them (sometimes they do sell out, you have been warned!). Prepare for parking to be tricky sometimes, but there are enough open spaces at other nearby places that you can make it work.

This place gets busy. My family and I came in on a Sunday. A Deli kinda feel/bbq joint. You go in line first to order and take your tray of food to a table. Some of the reviews I’ve read made me nervous to come in but the food was well worth it and the staff was patient and kind! I got “chicken in the field” it was so tasty! And my husband got the special “red October” and Mac n cheese. The mac n cheese you have to get! They also do half orders of sandwiches. I wish there was High chairs my 1 year old loved all the food and said bye to everyone as we left.

My Sunday breakfast go-to; though I rarely eat breakfast food here. Only place I can get salad at 8AM.
