Huge fan of the spinach salad. Best I ever had! Although sometimes we need a meatball. Pizza is great also. New patio

Man, what a cool joint!
Tunes are classic.
Drinks are "spot on"!
Menu can only be compared with a mix of bar, Italian, "Good Guys", and other normal ... anything's. Vegetarian, salads & flat bread to regular Italian, & burgers, wings, &...
You can't miss here.
Drop in and say hey to Laura, she'll take care of ya. (Service minded), not this "Jr. Miss selfie" as most places these days.
I'll lol be back!
I was back, ...meatballs for a quick bite (huge) & tasty. I was gonna eat 1 & take 1 to go, but couldn't stop eating.
Lol
Back again, one of the best house salads I've found around town, I suppose it is just iceberg lettuce (mainly) a tomato wedge & cheese, not so leafy nor lots of "other veggies", but I guess it reminds me of home, growing up that's the way we had salad.
Lasagna ig great & Nina appreciated the eggplant Parm.

Joe Boccardi's, a hidden gem that has been dishing up genuine Italian delicacies for decades, is located right in the middle of Saint Louis. This family-run restaurant produces a welcome ambience that makes you feel at home with its warm and inviting ambiance.
You are welcomed by the tantalizing aroma of hot, freshly baked pizza and flavorful Italian dishes as soon as you enter Joe Boccardi's. The restaurant's charming atmosphere is enhanced by its traditional design and inviting seating arrangements, making it the perfect place for both private dinners and social gatherings with friends and family.

My wife and I always enjoy going to Joe Boccardi's. We like the food, atmosphere and especially enjoy seeing Sam. We look forward to seeing her and she always makes us laugh.
Great place!

Good food. XL pizza was small but tasty! The thin crust was superb. St. Louis stype! The strange finish on the tabletop made it sticky. Needs to be redone, and fast!

I was saddened to learn they do not have salsiccia any more. We went there Sunday Oct. 8 of 23. I ordered spaghetti and asked for salsiccia and was told by the waiter they don’t have it any more. So spaghetti with meatball it was then. Oh well. Great food and good service.

Excellent service (we had Daniel, who was absolutely fabulous) and excellent food. Pizza was wonderful as well as the chicken Mario. Will definitely be back.

First time and it was delicious. Wait staff was fast and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

During cold months the dining room is quaint. During warm months the patio can handle a big crowd.

Best pizza in STL! We picked up a few pizzas and salad for dinner and we were not disappointed. The pizza crust is light and the toppings are fresh. It tastes like homemade! The house salad has such great dressing. The staff was really friendly when we picked it up! I’m looking forward to going back again to dine-in next time.

The Siciliano Flatbread was tasty and crisp. The house Old Fashioned was sweetly delicious. Our server was friendly and fast.

Food was good, lots of sauce on the sandwich hiding many of the other flavors. Table surface was super sticky

I go back to when Joe and Vince Cuneto were pharmacists across the street from the

restaurant and Frank Vincari was the local bookie across the street. I called the

Watson Bacardi tonight for a to go order and ordered a simple spaghetti and meat

balls and linguine clams , 2 orders ! The unprofessional girl who answered the

phone started from the first second in a rude and condescending manner, as if on crack,

with an interrogation , "do you want 2 meatballs" and the order went very consumer

unfriendly from there. All I wanted was 2 dinners , not a " why are you bothering me

with this order" . I got there and paid $35. got no receipt and went home . When

I got home , no spaghetti , just 2 meatballs . i called back to complain and got

the same girl , who tells me she remembers the order and did not hear me say spaghetti,

I can come back up there and pay for spaghetti. Little girl, I'm never going to come

into any Bacardi restaurant or golf course ever again and recommend no one be insulted

by crack heads like you . There are hundreds of restaurants other than Bacardi to go

and get a nice meal from people who make a profession of treating people politely.

Sitting in the restaurant currently with a short staff waisted 10 min waiting for drinks to even be offered. The manager seems to not care while he sits at the bar and chats with his assumed "buddy" instead of helping his only two servers pour drinks. What a waist of time and such a poor excuse for a "manager". I would fire him in a heart beat if I were the owner. The wait staff is doing their best while he waste time and money.

Had toasted ravioli at Joe's tonight best in st. Louis I think. Quaint little place conveniently located great Italian food. Waiters and waitresses are very nice and work rapidly to get you your food hot and fast.

Rip off Alert!. I went to Joe Boccardi's for dinner with friends. I left a cash tip. When I checked my credit card statement, I found an automatic 20% tip. Called restaurant. They said that the tip problem would be corrected when the became final. The final charge increased, to a tip of 70%. Called back. I was told that I would need to go to restaurant with my credit card statement and receipt to prove it.

Columbia, Il. I was there with my wife 3/3/13. My wife hadchicken mudiga and it did not taste like muduga, we have eaten steak and chicken mudiga on the the hill and this was nothing like it. Was covered in panko and was sitting in an oily product, was not too bad but definitely was not mudiga, salad was sticctly head lettuce and nothing to write home about. I had carbonara and was unable to eat it, absolutely nasty, pasta was completely covered in a brown sauce that was the among the worst things I have put in my mouth, I had 3 bites and could not eat any more. The server came by and asked if I was finished and when I said I was she took the compete platter (uneaten) w/o a word and didn't ask if there was a reason it was uneaten. This led me to believe the staff may be accustomed to people not finishing their meals. Wait staff was fine food was awful, drinks watered down had to ask for heavier pour on 2nd drink. We had been there a few years before and didn't like it then and don't like it now.

I love Joe Boccardi's. The food is great, of course they are known for their pizzas. If you haven't been there in awhile they have a great new patio

Ask for Jodi ...she is great. Spinach ravioli was pretty good too.

Had the stuffed fillet of sole and caesar salad and they were both good. Small place and good decor but they need to dim the lights for a more romantic atmosphere.

I'll be back. My girlfriends and I dine here once or twice a year and would take it over the Olive Garden-type chains anytime. Prices are reasonable, especially considering pasta entrees include salad (but I always bring a coupon). The Cavatelli Arrabiata is absolutely awesome and I can't find a comparable dish elsewhere. I've never had a complaint in a dozen+ visits.

The pizza is good, but Joe needs a refresher on customer service. We had 5 people; and they wanted to charge us $4 to split the ticket. They would not bring us bread because we had pizza. We ordered an appetizer and it arrived after the main course. The sad thing is, because of a $4 charge and a basket if bread; we won't be back and I will not bring clients here either, Learn a lesson Joe.

Great Italian comfort food place. Want some everyday Spaghetti and meatballs, pizza, etc Italian food but don't want to spend too money and travel all over town trying to decide where to go? Try this favorite. It's your everyday Italian-American comfort food place.

The pasta special (chicken, sun dried tomatoes, and mozzarella) was very good. The provel cheese was good on the salad but I did not like it on the pizza. Prices were a little higher than I expected but not outrageous.

Joe Boccardi's is a decent enough suedo-Italian restaurant. Mid priced dishes and nice quiet environment for older people.
