Finally some quality cuisine in St. Louis. Chef Logan Ely is able to modify simple ingredients into exceptional dishes that provide visually and orally. The communal bar eating space adds to the welcoming aesthetic while maintaining the focus on the kitchen. I highly recommend to anyone in or visiti
Savage is fantastic from decor to food and beverage pairings, just amazing! Not in a popular location and also not labeled other than by the old A&B liquor and meat sign, the decor is a gritty industrial chic and is dark and brooding. The main dining room is kitchen bar seating around the kitchen so
Watching the Savage team through a service is like watching performance art. Each dish is purposeful and precisely plated. Textures and tastes are comingled together into perfect bites. Portion sizes are small and so even though we had the 12 course tasting menu we didn't end the meal feeling quite
Nice environment, service, food, and overall experience. My only complaint would be that a couple of the dishes were a little sour for my liking, but even that didn’t stunt my review. My favorite dishes were the spot prawn and then the pear with fig leaf sugar dessert. Great place, well worth the pr
I visited Savage for the second time. The first time was last year, when we could still dine in restaurants. The service and food were impeccable. This time, we did takeout and again, the food was divine. I was surprised at how fabulous their customer service was even with takeout. I have some aller
We enjoyed our dinner at Savage very much. We are so happy there is such a restaurant in St. Louis. We will definitely go again.
The Chef is talented and creative
Very good food and service! If I were to rate it on a STL tasting menu scale it is #3 behind Vicia and Farmhaus but still very very good! I will confidently say the wine/beer tasting is #1. I do enjoy the open kitchen concept though, they are on to something special there!
12 course tasting menu is worth trying. Feel like a Michelin restaurant and I love the open kitchen concept. It’s a little bit pricy considering the food is mostly plant based.
I couldn't believe when I found a place like this in St Louis. If you want to have an EXPERIENCE, you must come to this place. I recommend doing the wine pairing. Most of the dishes are plant based, we only had 2 with seafood.
Excellent culinary experience! As a self-proclaimed foodie, it’s very cool to see this concept succeeding in St. Louis! Go support this Chef who’s mastered his craft!
