It's a nicely sized restaurant that is quiet, clean and give some more personal feel to the dining experience for their menu.
The food is always good. The surface is always fast, amazing and courteous and continuously checks upon you.
And the sushi is some of the best in the area by far. Has been consistently amazing for at least a handful of years now.
Will always go there and stop by when I drive through the area. As it is a must.

I’ve visited this restaurant a lot over the last several years because I live nearby. I like supporting small businesses, but I’ve started going less as the prices keep raising. Recently I don’t find it worth the amount I pay.

Wonderful and fresh sushi! I have been here many times but this week was the first time I tried the Chirashi bowl. My mother’s friend (who has discriminate tastes) was eating this last week and it’s her favorite. It looked so good that my mother and I wanted to try it- and we were so glad we did! We love this place.

The best sushi and unagi Don I have ever had. The ichigo and white Dragan rolls were beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I would say best sushi in St Louis. The sashimi’s always fresh and generous in portion. Ichiban also gets the tempura right (the right crispiness and thickness), which is rare around here. It’s one of our go-to places 👍🏾

Absolutely the best place I've eaten sushi in the St. Louis area. The sashimi was perfect cut, texture, and flavor - excellent 👌 And the service is phenomenal - kind, attentive, and hospitable. My favorite part though, was the ambience - authentic, smallish, warm, and cozy. I appreciate that the music was low and calm, so my party and I could enjoy our meal and time together. This place is truly a gem, and I will return. Thank you 🙏

We will definitely come again. All of the sushi was on par for similarly priced places in the area. Service was great. The atmosphere was so nice, especially the background music. I am so sick of loud dance club music at restaurants recently. Ichiban had calm music and it really made the meal enjoyable.

Went here on a weekday night, the crowd was very less. The service and ambience were good. The food was delicious. Chicken Katsu, soup and the sushi (especially eel) were great. Shrimp starter was good too but we felt it was pricey for the quantity.
