A random night out with a friend led us to this cute little spot in Lafayette Square. The staff took great care of us, engaged in great conversation, and offered wonderful suggestions on what to eat.

Everything we ate was delicious! We ordered the chicken & waffle, shrimp & grits & the jumbalaya. For an appetizer we got the tuna tatare. The service was great too.

The chicken and waffles was very good. The gumbo and redfish were just okay. They make great Sazerac.

Absolutely beautiful, cozy space with warming, southern cuisine to match. The jambalaya, shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles were delicious. Went upstairs to the Bailey’s Chocolate Bar for a drink and dessert afterward. Lovely staff and great service. Will definitely be back!

Food was very good. Drinks are nice and strong. First time trying Redfish and I was very pleased. The corn and greens complimented it perfectly. Service was a bit slow but the staff is very friendly.

The food was amazing. We started out with the calamari and the egg bayou. They were delicious. I had the chicken with cornbread waffle. The chicken breast was a hefty portion with an amazing flavor and the cornbread waffle melts in your mouth. Our server was fantastic and very pleasant. We met Chef Rabbit, she was so sweet and she's very talented. They really deserved more than just 5 stars. I recommend this place time and time again.

Amazing. Some of the best food I've had in St. Louis. I had gumbo and jambalaya - awesome. Drinks were solid, as well. The chocolate bar upstairs makes for a great nightcap. Lafayette Square is rapidly becoming my favorite part of St. Louis. [Ignore the negative Sauce Magazine review from the August issue. That magazine is better than Feast, but both largely harp on the same clichéd themes while celebrating unrefined palates. Why is every one of the 6,000 pizza, beer, and fatty pork belly joints and food trucks continually reframed as something sophisticated, while the interesting concepts are panned? We need a real food magazine in this city.]

If you like Creole and you happen to be in the Saint Louis area, this is the place for you. (Also, if you're a Saint Louis local, this is in the old digs of the Chocolate Bar.) The menu at L'Acadiane seems not overwhelming, which means that every dish is honed to spicy perfection. The chef does a great job. I started off with the ribs, which showcase the awesome flavor of the place. I tried the jambalaya, the etoufee, and the crab stuffed catfish, all of which was delicious. The beignets finished the meal off right.

Delicious food and outstanding service with upscale cajun/southern food. I love how much of the food is house-made. You can taste the difference in the home-made hot sauce, cucumber ranch, and gravy. The shrimp and grits were amazing, I would put the gravy on everything! I'd love to go back and try the chicken and waffles. Our waiter made great suggestions, was attentive and willing to accommodate our requests.

Very good Creole-inspired food. The chicken and waffles and the crab cake po boy were both standouts. Three sazarac was one of the best I've had. Decent prices for an up scale restaurant too. Food service was very slow the night i went but it was a special event and it was SLAMMED so I'll give them a pass on that one. The manager was very apologetic and comped us dessert, so good on them there
