Review La Mancha Coffeehouse - Saint Louis

Gordie Hanna
They brew really good coffee! I enjoyed my empanadilla. I loved the kids corner, and that you can still enjoy a typical cafe experience without the kids at your feet. Heads up: on street paid parking only (it's cheap, but you could park around the block for free if you like). Also, the doors aren't automatic.

Very cool joint! Great menu. Clearly they care about their food & drink. Well thought out menu. Service is great. No doubt this is A 14th st. ICON! I'll be back, even though it's not on the way.

Recommended: My 3 family members ate for $23. We left full. The portions & prices are good. I really enjoyed my turkey and guac club with chips. The flavours blended so well that I wasn't ever bored with my sandwich. I wasn't thrilled with the décor. It didn't make sense. It was undecided if it was ethnic, cozy or eclectic. The tables were not uniform, the floor was warped and it didn't seem like a coffeehouse at all. I was pleased that there was a section for children to play in, that they provided free cups for water and breakfast is served all day. I would go back.

It was my first time visiting !!!! The food has a great taste to it , and the caramel was delicious ! What I love the most was... the young lady made my order wrong, when I told her she took FULL accountability. She made my food over, and was very nice about it . I loved the customer service, food and great atmosphere!!!!!

When I come downtown for training, I always enjoy coming into this cafe. Nice people and atmosphere here. I typically get a double shot of espresso over ice, but today, trying the LA Mancha Slinger. What a delight!

Awesome breakfast burrito. The latte was a good bean but what did the trick for me is when I asked for Carmel they gave me real dulce de leche which was awesome. Caribbean style. Nice touch to the already great meal.

I love this place especially for the experience. I frequent it often, as it's my favorite place to sit and work. I love the original artwork featuring local artists, and the cozy atmosphere. They bake all their pastries from scratch and I especially like warm blueberry muffins. They have an excellent bottomless coffee deal. Another great part of the experience is the staff. Everyone is very friendly, hard working, and casual. Overall, it's definitely my go-to chill spot!

They have these breakfast roll things, and they say they aren't sweet. They're definitely sweet enough to be delicious and not overpowering. I also had an EXTENDED conversation about a pride presentation I'm doing, and even though it went into a lot of the different aspects of the community, I was made perfectly at home. What a lovely place. They even wrapped up a muffin for me to take home to my nesting partner, and he loved it. Definitely coming back, and next time I'll settle in with some knitting.

I stop here a couple times every week for breakfast. Love the people and the food. Generally I'm on my way to work so it's a to-go order but sometimes Veronica will have a lunch special that is just too good to pass up and I'll buy that as well. Best part is you can call in advance and swing in quickly and carry out. Ask for the blueberry pancakes you won't be disappointed.

I ordered the Philly breakfast sandwich and Mocha latte and omg it was so good. I’m from Chicago here on a business trip, and Chicago has a huge variety of amazing places to eat and hard to top. I was a tad skeptical on La Manchas food but boy I was NOT disappointed. Everything was super delicious. The environment was cozy and it’s family friendly. I also appreciate the diversity of customers they have. This important considering the times we live in. Thank you La Mancha for your service.
