Benton Park Cafe

It was crowded with working guys at opening time, which we took as a good sign. We got the ultimate Benedict and split it between two of us, along with a cafe au lait and coffee of the day. Service was very attentive and the drinks came quickly, and a shorter than expected wait for the food. The building has plenty of quirky charm, and interesting art on the walls.

This is such a cute little breakfast place. This was recommended to us by the owners of the house we rented for the weekend. The food was good, shocked it was served on cardboard plates, but it didn't change the taste. The waitstaff was friendly and quick and everything was clean. I would recommend to Benton Park Café, that when ever maple is used (sausage) to note that in the menu. My husband is not a maple fan and the sausages were maple. He would have skipped the sausage and had more bacon. That is the only complaint I have. I would certainly return again if we are ever in the area. Thank you for a great place and good food.

I’ve been coming here for many years and there food is always the best!!! Especially on the weekends like Sundays with my family. I always get the usual Turkey bacon egg croissant with cheesy hash browns and coffee. Friendly staff and a great cook. I live in the area so city folks are always the best! It’s based in a good neighborhood and lots of historic houses. You can eat inside or outside both are great. Definitely worth it. Photos are from a recent take out order!!! They are the BEST!!!

The food was delicious. I had the ultimate eggs Benedict that was perfect! Service was terrible. They eliminated k waitress service. Only one person was taking orders, who was standing at the bar. I had to stand in line 15 minutes to order my breakfast which I paid for at the time of ordering. They didn’t have decaf coffee. They gave me a number and I sat at a table with friends. It was another 20 - 25 minutes before my food arrived on a paper plate and with plastic utensils. Since there was a group of us, first several people were done eating before the the last person received her food. It was like a fast food joint but not as efficient. You would expect better when the meal cost the meal as when they had waitresses, plates,silverware and good service.

That damn maple cream cheese on the french toast. 😋 Baby you better order it. Bacon was crispy. Fresh berries with the yogurt was yum. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Their reviews should definitely be higher than they already are. Also, I am a picky eater who will pick a restaurant apart, so trust me.
