This was our first time going there. We had just left the zoo, and we were all pretty hungry so, I looked up places to eat around the area and this is where we landed. We came long after the lunch rush, and before the dinner rush, so it was pretty quiet and relaxed. This is some of the best Mexican food we've ever had. I ordered two beef chimichangas and was not disappointed. The servings are large, so we ended up with leftovers, but no complaints! The waitress was very nice and she kept busy with checking on us and handling refills and everything. She didn't forget about us like we've experienced in other restaurants in the past. It's a bit of a drive for us, but we will keep Amigo Joe's on our list of places to visit again!

We picked up half chicken dinners for lunch. The restaurant is very visual with colorful decor and cool lighting, with a nice outdoor area as well. The chicken is fantastic. Light habanero breading and a super tender bird make you want more even after a big and affordable meal. Pick up or dine in, you cant lose.

Wanted to finally leave a review . Went here again tonight , been going for a while , this place has some amazing fried chicken . They are always courteous and prompt . Zack was very patient tonight and was very kind and staff and management do a great job. If you ever go , try the fried chicken they have two choices if you like spicy food the habanero fried chicken is great as well .We will be back and would definitely recommend to anyone and have recommended others here as well. Great atmosphere. Great food . Also usually they have local sports on with a view of a tv pretty much everywhere . Thank you again. God Bless.

This is a local Mexican restaurant we go to. The wife likes the place a bunch. I am ehh about it. Food is pretty good so I still go. Just can’t get excited about Mexican Restaurants. Good news is that I think 15 have opened in the last two years on Hampton. We will continue to go to Amigo Joes when it is what we crave.
