The Dam Burger is a top burger for me. This is a guilty pleasure salty, gooey, saucy burger you need on a rough day. It will be there for you. The Belgian fries are fresh, a good mix of crispy and gooey. Lots of fries too. That's a big plus. The value was just right for the cost and amount of good food. A must try for burger enthusiasts. If I were to go back I would add toppings to this burger, which you can do for additional costs. I may also add another patty.

Came here to pick up for a postmates order and returned for my own order. If you're thinking it's priced high, the portions and quality match the price. The animal and the magic mushroom burgers were both realllly good and the get baked and chili cheese fries were addicting. I chose The Dam because I was craving a GREAT burger, and I was not disappointed!!! From the soft pretzels, fries, ale dipping sauce (herb butter), I enjoyed every bite, and it sure didn't take me long to take the next one! My two year old could run around the patio without me having to hover, which I loved. He had a blast playing with Achilles (the adorable, well-behaved, brindle k9)! Will be back next time I have a hankering for a GREAT burger 😋😉🍔🍟🥨🥤🐕❤👦

This unpretentious burger shack has one of the best burgers and FRIES I have had. Interesting that they have this little 'Belgian' theme going and that gave extra fun experience. The staff was amazingly friendly to our kids and us and gave us great details of the menu. We tried the Belgian burger. The guda cheese wasn't overpowering, the flavor combination of the pattie, the bun, the cheese, the sauce was great. The highlight was the salty and greasy bacon and the cole slaw with lots of poppy seeds. So yummy. Wish I had a double or triple (which was an option!), but it was just an appetizer before a full meal. Their french fries itself is noteworthy. It didn't have skin, but has a unique texture that makes outside so crispy but inside so soft. One of the kids who is a picky eater exclaimed, 'where do you get this kind of burger!' And the other one who is a foodie was very satisfied with his food. They have a unique local soda to go with. Yum yum.

This hole in the wall burger place is a St Louis gem! The food is amazing here! Try "The Animal" burger and you'll be hooked for life! (I order it without jalapeños as it's high heat if you don't.) The fries (especially Belgian or Loaded Fries) are to die for and the Honey-Curry Sauce is my favorite. It's a super small storefront (maybe 5-10 seats tops), and customers will often head next door to the tavern, where the Dam will bring over the food when it's ready. I usually just order it to go and drive up to Tower Grove Park (2 minutes away!) to enjoy the meal. You may have a 30 minute wait if you show up during peek hours (we often call in our order ahead of time), but it's WELL WORTH ANY WAIT!
