Best Guacamole in St. Louis. What a great place to have a fun dinner with friends and enjoy some of the best Guacamole I've ever had! the owners are fabulous and they come right over and will joke with you and have your whole table laughing!
Try the burrito grande, it is amazing!
Great neighborhood place. As a neighbor, I've eaten here many times in the last year. I'm always greeted with a smile, and the food and service is great. I usually get their enchiladas, and my wife gets the fajitas or chimichanga. Definitely recommend. Local EMS, fire, and police get a huge discount as well.
My goodness! What a delight. Probably some of the best service I have ever had in a restaurant. The manager is personable, funny, and engaging. The prices are fair for what you get, and high quality food. I ordered the chicken consomme, which I was pleased to discover was real consomme!! Nothing better for a chilly evening. I can't quite figure out what cheese they put on their torta, but it didn't taste like Oaxaca or queso fresco.
The service was great and the food was delicious!! As a huge fan of Mexican food this place will be my new go too. I got the chicken tacos and tortilla soup. The soup was beyond delicious and the the tacos were tender, juicy, well seasoned, and delightfully spicy. My children enjoyed their food and had a good time as well.
Love this neighborhood Mexico restaurant. Authentic dishes, great friendly service, great prices and it's Yummy!!! Great prices on drinks too.
There's a nice kick to the food the gives it a great flavor but isn't overpowering. Staff is great too.
This small Mexican restaurant has a very nice ambiance, certainly a notch above the average Mexican family place. It was quick, good, and the staff was very pleasant. Reasonable prices. Good array of salsas too. It was not busy (it was off-peak hours) and the bar was empty, but I imagine it gets quite busy during dinner time.
The salad dressing is light and perfect. The greens are complex. I just had the fish tacos and they were extraordinary. Sweet ambiance. Our waitress was polite, thorough and attentive. Don't come to this restaurant because we want to keep it all to ourselves!
Perfectly delicious food! Wonderful selection, and the owner was so fun! I was there with a group of friends and we had a great time, good margaritas, and a generally great experience. If I'm ever back in St. Louis, I'll make the trip to Loreda.
Their menu was filled with favorites and made with fresh ingredients. They were eager to adjust each dish to our taste. The fish tacos were fabulous. Quaint and comfortable. I recommend their margaritas and guacamole.
If you like going to Americanized Mexican restaurants then Laredo’s is not for you. Here is like going to a welcoming friend’s home with food that is simple, flavorful and clean. You’re not overwhelmed with overly large portions of so so food, but given a plate that is satisfying and filling. Highly recommend and looking forward to a returning visit.
Laredo is top notch in quality, service and ambiance. I have a Mexican husband and am accustomed to “real” Mexican food and Laredo doesn’t disappoint. The owner is delightful and a joy to see on top of the amazing food and wonderful staff. Hands down our favorite place for Mexican food! Jeannie Trejo
