Mizu Sushi Bar

An absolute diamond in the rough establishment. Excellent Food, Excellent Service, and a hands down amazing service staff. Personal shout out to our waiter Eugene who was on top of everything including our water refills; alongside, what I assume were the owners of the establishment, personally checking on me and my partner during our stay ensuring we could make the most out of our visit. Next time I'm in town I'm definitely stopping by here again!

This place is an absolute gem. We had the gyoza for appetizers and they might have been the best I've ever had, not horribly greasy like some places, but nicely fried and crunchy. Then I got the mizu special roll and the sexy lady - my partner got the bulgogi. The sushi was amazing!!! I even stole a bite of the bulgogi, and if I ever go back I would definitely get that (unless I just go back to the sushi, which is absolutely worth it). I was surprised that this place was not packed on a Saturday night, being so close to the last hotel. The service was great and they were constantly tipping up our water. Everyone who waited on us was super polite. Eugene was a wonderful waiter that helped us today. 10/10, great food, great service, great vibe. Would go back in a heartbeat.

I’m surprised it’s taken me this long to try Mizu, but I’m glad I did! They have a great selection of sushi and their entrees are really well prepared. I had a beef donuburi bowl with beef and it was a ton of food for the price, easily two meals. The sushi rolls were also great and came out really fast. Along with the mains, I ordered some Agedashi Dofu (fried tofu) and it was amazing! If you live downtown you need to pay them a visit!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent! We were going to share a bowl of the chicken ramen and they even offered to split it into 2 different bowls for us. The sushi was so tasty and the spring rolls were fresh and delicious with the side of peanut sauce 😋 The ramen had a nice, spicy kick to it. It's not like the traditional ramen you'd find in Japan, but it was yummy! Definitely would recommend this spot!

I want to point out that the water here is impeccable. Many restaurants have poor water. This water tastes purified. So fresh. I imagine The fountain of youth tastes just like this. Like.. I be looking for that taste in every restaurant. If the water is good, you know the food is gonna BUSSSS. Everything is good about this place. I’ve had the ramen everytime I’ve went and it’s so spicy and good! Great flavor. I’ve had the chicken and the beef. The chicken is my favorite tho. That broth was just impeccable. I didn’t like that I read that the ramen noodles were like the thin noodles you get in a .20 cent pack at the grocery and that’s false. These are thicker than those. Thick enough. They’re not the thicker ramen noodles I’ve had at other places BUT are they better? ABSOLUTELY. I get extremely full before I finish my bowl so that’s all that matters. When food makes you happy and hopeful all of a sudden after eating you know it’s good. This place definitely brings bliss and they have amazing prices!! I had the rainbow roll too. Delicious. Fresh. I added eel sauce. I was SO full.
