The food was melt in your mouth good! I drove from Chicago on a work trip near here. So I decided to come here for lunch because I been hearing about this place for years. It was VERY HARD to make a decision on the food choices available. I wanted everything! I will be going back while I'm off.

Great food and staff. Enjoyed the food very much. Mrs Jan came out to talk with us and take a picture with us. She and the staff were sweet and down to earth.

Omg, this was the best southern food cooking I eaten in a long time. I had the fried catfish macaroni cabbage peach cobbler and cornbread and everything was delicious. We was served big portions I couldn’t even eat all of it. The customer service was great and the food can out timely and we didn’t have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend this place if love you love southern homemade food. Even though it’s little priceless but you get what you pay for. Love it 😍

Yall. Let me first say that I cried in Sweetie Pies. My grandmother has been gone for over 5 years but I swear her and Sweetie Pie learned how to make peach cobbler from the same person. It was so amazing because I bit into it and literally saw the steps of my grandma's old house. Mind you I was in St. Louis and we are from Jersey. Please bless your life and eat here. Great food, great service, and perfect peach cobbler.

We happened upon this location and didn't realize it wade the original! Folks were super friendly, portions will fill you up, and tastes great. we had fried chicken and meatloaf! Always get dessert...yummy!! Wish they had better parking arrangements, but obviously it's worked this many years.
