Bbq Saloon

This has to be the coolest place ever! I just came for the St. Louis Ribs but I also saw they serve the Whiskey from the Band of Metallica. I never had a chance to try it till I went there. I was so happy to have food and the Metallica Whiskey. Also the staff is super friendly and you feel very welcomed! Go and check it out! The food is amazing, Whiskey was good and the people are just the best!

I will be back most definitely. Let me start off 1st with the customer service you guys. Walk threw the door get greeted with 2 awesome friendly gentlemen. Ok now the fooooooddddd. Mac and cheese is INSANE and I am a Mac and cheese woman!!!! Its so creamy and delicious. 1st time having brisket nacho now I am in love. I had 6 ribs 3 dry rub 3 fried(presmoked) lord lord lord is all I can say. Very tender smoky no burnt taste. Walking out of here last night I had not one complaint. Will be back Update:::: 2nd time at this place and once again noooooo disappointments..the owner is absolutely awesome. Staff is very friendly customer service is absolutely the best..had to get brisket nachos again and they are so freaking good.. nachos chips stay crispy..had the ribs and Mac and cheese. Chipotle smoked pasta with smoked chicken too absolutely die for. If you want a real real long island go here. Everything was a 10 if you haven't been here yet you have no idea what you are missing!!!

I had some time to waste near Barnes-Jewish hospital and came here for lunch. I had to try the candied bacon and the Filet Mignon sliders were calling my name. In an effort to be semi-healthy I got the Cole slaw too. Everything was wonderful. The candied bacon was the best I ever had. The Filet Mignon sliders were incredible. The meat was delicious and tender. You simply have to try the cole slaw. I'm not a fan of Greek yogurt or blueberries but it works in this dish. It's excellent Cole slaw.

Wonderful little whiskey bar. Sort of a reduced menu, there was some problem with an incorrect old menu on the web and they had a whole lot less selection. Service was fast and friendly with lots of excellent advice. When we ask for a few extras they were cheerfully and promptly provided. Couldn't ask for service. The food was mostly quite good but the nachos are what fell a little short. A fairly adequate but not generous helping of pulled pork on them and the standard basic cheese sauce which was kind of bland while the chips were very thin for our taste/preferences. For sure we would try them again if we are in the area.

I wouldn't have thought to make an Old Fashioned with Crown, but the "A$$ Kickin' Old Fashioned" lives up to its name. Absolutely loved the ribs. The pulled pork sliders were also pretty great, but I got bursts of salt I assume were from their rub. My wife's BBQ pork quesadilla looked thin, but she said it was filling and the chipotle rub on the tortilla really added to the flavor. They had several other bourbons behind the bar, a variety of non-whiskey cocktails, and a good beer selection as well.
