Great grocery store. Smelled lovely inside. Nice selection and good prices.
EDIT: Stopped by this Italian ethnic grocery today to get some specialty items. Husband was disappointed that the pesto is no long available in the larger bottles. I noticed the beautiful way wine was displayed.

I have been here several times when we come to visit St Louis. I love their pastas and spices. This market has all your needs for an Italian meal including fresh sandwiches and sausages. They also have the wine to go with your favorite meal.
The only problem with this store is....I can't afford to buy everything!
You must not forget about the fresh olive salad too!
Just want you would hope for in Ann Italian grocery store. Every kind of Italian food and condiment. The even will make you a sandwich and have a seating area to eat in. Fun atmosphere!
Such a special market to shop a great variety of Italian pastas, sauces, olives, charcuterie, bread, desserts, wine…you name it. Everything is great! Not cheap, but that is understandable considering they have imported goods.

I’ve been on the hunt for the best meatball sandwich in The Hill area. I finally found it! I’ve pretty much told anyone that will listen to me that this is the best meatball sandwich around! Give it a shot and thank me later.
This store has so many choices of wine, deli items, pasta, bread and sweets from Italy...love the staff and will be back again!
An institute. Definitely worth the stop if you love food. They have the hard to find italian staples.
Viviano’s is a Don’t Miss stop on The Hill. I drive over a hundred miles one way. My advice is bring a cooler, you’ll be glad you did, and give yourself time to browse through all the sections. Wines, cheeses, olives, sauces, frozen foods, spices, etc, they don’t disappoint. Enjoy!

We visit Viviano's when we visit St. Louis. There is such an assortment of Italian food items in the store that we could shop for hours! We love the deli (especially the Volpi salami) and find something we haven't tried (yet) every time we visit.
If you're cooking Italian you must shop here. You can only get better Parmesan in Parma Italy. The salami, cheese and olives selection is incredible.

First time in the store. Sweet lady selling her cookbook. Also, the lady in the back where the cheese is located was great.
