One of the best Indian restaurants in town. I typically go for the lunch buffet and they have a great assortment of authentic items (mean and vegetarian), would be somewhat standard but the flavor of everything and how it is cooked is very very good! Friendly service and in a great location as welling being in the middle of the grove. Can walk to breweries, bars, parks, and hang out spots near by.

Food is good, and they have plenty of gluten free options. They have a nice buffet Friday through Monday. On the other hand, the restaurant is always too hot for my comfort. And I’m not a fan of the new signs warning of an extra $5 per plate charge if you leave food on your plate. Come on guys, that’s a bit much.

I the lunch buffett today. What AMAZING food!!! It has been a few years since I have been to Everest Cafe. They have expanded the restaurant. They have done a TERRIFIC with all the updates. EVERY dish tasted DELICIOUS and FANTASTIC !!! All the flavors were INCREDIBLE!!! Make sure to eat at Everest Cafe, you will NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Food was excellent! Tried many things at the affordable lunch buffet and liked it all. Only knock is that the naan wasnt available most of the time (though it was late in lunch window). Owner was very nice and came to talk to us when we commented to server how good everything was. Great guy with a history coming from nothing to being a success. Gives back to community here and back in Nepal where he is originally from.

Tandoori Chicken - really big portion
Chicken tikka masala
Super delicious. All of the dishes were flavorful
We were a party of two and we took most of the tandoori chicken to go.
Definitely worth it !!
we will be coming back again to try the other dishes.

I always have a great time at Everest. The owners go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome. The food is always cooked fresh and delicious. Sometimes I take out and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food.

Our favorite restaurant! They offer Nepalese Indian and Korean foods. Family owned and operated. Always good quality and friendly service. They offer Vegan and gluten-free dishes that are amazing. The lunch buffet is very reasonable.

Good Indian/Nepali restaurant in town. We went there for buffet while we were in town to see the gateway arch. The food was tasty and the service was good too. Lots of options for veg and non veg buffet. We met the owner, a very nice and humble man. He spoke about his passion for cooking healthy food for his restaurant, definitely coming back to this place when in town.

We had a group of different dietary needs (vegan, no raspberries, no bread, no spicy foods)- everyone absolutely loved their meals! Highly recommend.

I don’t usually leave the reviews but had to do it since I saw someone completely bashing this restaurant. Don’t make up things just cause you are a hater .
I’ve been going here for more than 2 years and never had a single bad experience. Service is always great. And for the food I promise you won’t find any healthy restaurant besides this in st louis. It tastes good and it’s healthy too . They always makes fresh food, no oil , no high sodium and vegetables are organic as well. Everything is so perfect and absolutely delicious.
The way someone compared this restaurant’s food with dog and cat food like is he okay ? He must have tried them to know how it tastes like . There’s limit for everything . It’s understandable if you simply don’t like food and service but comparing thing that someone has put a lot efforts in it to dog food is crazyyyyy.

Great food and good value for money!! Had the tandoori chicken, naan and an Indian beer and it was all very good. Large enough serving that I had leftovers for two meals. Had a great chat with the owner, Dr. Devi States! Will be returning on my next trip to STL!!

I have been eating at Everest Café & Bar since 2004. Never disappoints. Everest Café & Bar is a must-visit restaurant in St. Louis. I bring my new-to-town friends there. It takes only one bite for them to be hooked and become regulars. My friends who moved away always request to eat there when they come back to visit. What impresses us the most is that the quality of food is consistent after all these years. Again, never disappoints.

We enjoyed samosa appetizer, veggie chow-chow, and tama bodi ra alu tarkari. Service was good, food was delicious and fresh. Will go back to try other vegan options.

I...love...this...place!
I'm from New Orleans so food is a way of life. I've traveled to eleven different countries and all over the USA and this is week I've visited this place twice. I will be back in November and will be here every night.
Awesome Asian food and awesome service. The owners came out every night and asked how the food was. Something you do not see every day. The Kimchi is great and I could eat that just by itself.
Keep killing it guys, I can not wait to come back and enjoy you hospitality.

Absolutely loved the food here. I had the hot and spicy chicken and it was just the perfect spice for me. It was also a huge helping. So although the price is a little high, you do get a ton of food.
We also tried the naan and JJ noodles. Both were excellent! Great service and comfy atmosphere. Will definitely try to go back.
