Bartolino's South

OMG I cannot speak more highly of this restaurant. The cocktails are amazing. If you order any of the martinis they are well made and it’s really like a martini and a half. They have a great wine selection and some good champagnes as well! As for the food, the fried calamari is divine, it is perfectly cooked with delicious breading! The ravioli are so good. Pretty sure they are made in house, and they are in an awesome white cheese sauce! So good! The night we went they had a veal shank special that was so good, perfectly prepared, it came right off the bone, was tender and amazing. We also had shrimp scampi (so good), chicken risotto- creamy cheesy deliciousness, and we had some Alfredo pasta. Amazing meal! The server was wonderful, allowed us to course our way through dinner service . He was patient, quick, and had an amazing attitude! I know he had his work cut for himself with our group, and he really made our night(a special occasion) really special! Friday there was also a musician there on the patio where we were seated, because we were seated very close it was a little loud, but it was also amazing! He was so talented and really added to the amazing night we had! We will be back Bartolino’s!

In my first visit to Bartolino's, they rank really high among restaurants in the area. All the of the food was delicious. My only critique is that I could not eat very much of the "house rissoto" because it was heavy. It got sort of boring to my taste buds after a few bites. The prima Vera was incredible. As for service, our chief complaint is running out of water. Other than that, the food came out in good time, and the waiter was attentive. We ate on the balcony, which was fun. With the chair I sat at I had to eat almost on the corner of the table because I was so close to the wall. That said, I highly recommend this Italian ristorante to anybody any day.

The food was delicious and fresh. This is the second time I've been recently, and for some reason, you have to almost beg the servers for service. The young people walking around and filling drinks were amazing, but for some reason, the wait staff aren't as attentive especially when it comes to getting the check or extra things you may need during your meal. Lastly, the food was good, but the two pizzas my party ordered were supposed to be identical, but they were clearly different looking. One had orangeish looking cheese and was almost soupy, while the other one looked typical of what you would expect.

Great old fashioned Had the stuffed mushrooms 🍄 - delicious. Very bright and perfectly cooked. The sole with crab was also very good and well prepared. The service was 5 stars until we were the last table in the dining room and ended up waiting around a while for our server to wrap things up. I had to get up and go look for him. It wouldn't stop me from going back - probably just go earlier and NOT take that table in the back corner.
