Joey B's

This place is always busy, we lucked out and at 2pm we were able to get in there without a wait but it was crowded for a place at 2 on a Friday. They have real french fries, not the battered ones and no spices on the fries. For me that is a ++. Both my friend and I were very happy with our lunch experience.

Food was pretty good. If you've been to any of this families restaurants it is very comparable in price and quality. The atmosphere is more of a bar then a restaurant. As opposed to Frankie G's in Imperial. It's more like a restaurant with a bar. Nevertheless the service was excellent and the food pretty much what we expected. I'd return when in the area. I just wouldn't pass up Frankie G's to go here. It speaks more to how good they are and not negatively about Joey B's.

Weird combination. Food was very good except the french fries. They were obviously cooked and then reheated. Service was very good. But the atmosphere was terrible. This was partially because we were seated by a side door that was always in use. Opened every 5 seconds. Music was to loud combined with the music coming from the people playing in the outside area it was a loud jumbled mess. I'll try again but will definitely get a different seat.

The side salad was huge and so so delicious! Every single plate had HUGE portions. Prices for each meal was around $19+ but the portions are so enormous that I get why. I had the meatloaf dinner with green beans and a side salad. The beans had zero flavor and were a mushy texture. A zero score for them. The meatloaf just wasn’t what I was hoping for but there was lots of it, so if I had enjoyed it, I would have been so happy. Next time I go, I will only order a salad. I had ranch dressing on mine and it was perfect. The service was on point with a friendly waitress. The atmosphere was warm and inviting too. I was in a party of three and we could talk without stressing our vocal cords so not overly noisy. No annoying customers and no crying children or babies. So pleasant!
