Smoking Barrels Bbq - St. Louis

This is some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. I got it delivered and it was still delicious. I got the three meat plate with sausage (great flavor, not greasy), ribs (big bones, not tiny ones. Very juicy) and the brisket. The brisket was pretty dry…but I ordered after 7pm, so I suspect it just was at the end of its shelf life. I’m not mad about it. The beans were alright, but the coleslaw was awesome! Not too vinegary and not too much mayo. I also got the potato skins with pulled pork. There’s only 4 of them, so that’s kind of a bummer. But they were delicious and came with jalapeños and sour cream on the side. The food was packaged very well and arrived to me hot. I’ll definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant that I've had a few times - catering trays of BBQ and sides are the way to go! I always get the ribs or the spicy chicken sloppy barrel. I really like the coleslaw and fried okra, and the potato casserole is a MUST. Sauces are good. If you like BBQ nachos, they are really decandent, too! The smoked chicken was amazing the next day added to a chili I made at home. Great BBQ spot. Super casual.

Everything about our experience here was great. The food was great the service was great everything was just great. Would definitely recommend coming here they have some really good ribs and brisket Mac and cheese was good and the sauces were all, well, great! Need to try more BBQ here in St. Louis so to be able to compare. Good beginning though and we will see what we see while we're here! We got a three meat sampler for only $23 and decided to get double ribs in the brisket. Came with a couple sides which we got the mac and cheese which was great with some of the Carolina mustard sauce on it. Also got the fried okra which was unbelievable, you have to go here just to get fried okra if you get anything! Did not get too many photos of the food because of the fingers and all being a little messy but the brisket is underneath the pile of ribs there and a decent amount of it. The ribs were clean off the bone also. They're hot sauce was the best if you ask me. Oh yeah the lil buttered toasted bread they give us delicious as well.

This is one of my all time favorite places for food. We drove 40 minutes to get food (to go) for my birthday dinner. We purchased 2 of the 3 meat combo (lasted throughout the weekend). Ordered a mix of brisket (x2), pulled pork, turkey, pork steak, & chicken. The food was fantastic (as always)! The grilled bread is one of my favorites. When we want smoked bbq, this is where we go, especially when we lived in South City, we ordered Smoking Barrels at least 2-3 times a month. The staff that took our order, he was very nice, but the staff are always nice.

I ordered the sausage dinner plate with baked beans and mac and cheese. It also came with a couple pieces of garlic bread. Very good portion of food for the price of $14. Everything tasted great. My wife got the brisket with the same sides and my son got the chicken fingers with fries. We all agreed that our food was delicious. I don't think there was a bite left. Beer prices were reasonable as well. I'll definitely be going back.
