Iron Barley's High Hog Ridge

This place is absolutely amazing! I’ve gone for both lunch and dinner and I want to take everyone I know there. I’ve almost had everything on the menu and the savory options are wonderful. They have a lunch buffet and it’s incredible! The star of the show though is the desserts. They have three on the menu dishes and a signature that changes daily. Make sure you save room for dessert! You won’t regret it! The staff is so friendly and inviting and they have live music on the weekends. I can’t say enough good things about this place

Love this place! I have been here a long time ago for a party for my friend and loved it. Last night my wife and I decided to take a ride for the prime rib on Saturday night. It did not disappoint, The atmosphere and the employees here are inviting. Our waitress was friendly and the other waitresses in the place checked on us also. This is a must stop if you have not been here, I cannot wait till the weather is nicer to ride the Motorcycle there and enjoy the awesome food. Put this on your list to visit.

It is indeed rare to find a quality meal outside STL. I was pleasantly surprise with the Iron Barley. Though their steaks were a bit pricey by Jefferson County standards, the portion and flavor were unsurpassed. If you enjoy the ambience of a home-town crowd, as I do (a bit noisy), their "New York Strip Sinatra Style", though pricey, is excellent. So is their dark beer - a huge surprise for this dark beer fan! Service dogs are welcome- a huge plus. I rarely give a 5 star, but they earned one...

Iron Barley is an absolute gem of an eating establishment in the Jefferson County area. When I have friends/family in from out of town, this is where I take them. Scratch made everything, excellent micro-beer selection, all at fair prices. Their events, many of which proceeds go to various charities- are incredible. I sincerely hope they stay here in High Ridge.
