Maggie O’Brien’s in downtown St. Louis is the classic Irish pub spot with a vibrant atmosphere. The recent remodel has added more space and big screens, enhancing the overall experience. The extensive menu offers delightful burgers, sandwiches, and salads, catering to diverse tastes. I haven’t been to Maggie O’Brien’s since I was in college. We used to go there for 50 Cent pitchers 🤯🥴
This iconic local hot spot has become synonymous with St. Louis sports, making it a go-to destination for sports enthusiasts. Boasting 75 high-res big screens, Maggie O’Brien’s ensures that every seat offers a perfect view.
Located across from the new St. Louis CITY SC stadium adds to its allure.
We have a good time in this place. It is more of a sports bar than an Irish pub. The service was great and super friendly waiters and bartenders. I liked the Toasted ravioli (first time)
Still some of the best ribs I've ever had! All the food is great, and they have a nice assortment of beers.
Haven't been there in years, but I go every time I am in St Louis.
They have remodeled it since the last time I was there. Nice and clean.
It's just west of Union station, and right across the street from the new soccer stadium. Also close to the baseball stadium and the hockey arena
We were visiting for a long weekend and staying in a hotel nearby. I love any excuse to get some Irish food and my family was on board for once! I had the shepherd's pie and it was delicious and portion sizes were very generous.
Great place to have a beer and a burger. I had an Irish whiskey burger and it was amazing! Fries were good, thick but crunchy.
Get the Big Mags Burger! $30, easily feeds 4 adults. They aren't kidding about the bag of fries. The 2lb burger was delicious, perfectly cooked.
Maggie O'Brien's, a quintessential St. Louis tradition, is the ideal meeting place before (or after) a Cardinals game or any StL event. Their Reuben eggrolls are a standout, ranking as my favorite appetizer among many restaurants. This venue holds a special place as one of my all-time favorites.
Food was good, service could have been better ad there were very few tables occupied when we got there. Was pretty dirty, no table was wiped. The music was incredibly loud and echoing off all the hard surfaces. I like loud music but at 5 pm with my kids trying to eat and we can't hear each other is overboard.
Huge portion. This is a half slab meal for $15.
Were not the best ribs I’ve ever had, but they were solid. Good sports bar and good beer selection.
Maggie O’Brien’s has some great food! Some of the best smoked wings downtown! Now that the renovations are complete, they have a ton of high tops between the bars for people to hang out. It’s usually a big crowd when there’s a soccer game or a block party. I highly recommend trying the Gilly’s Irish bird sandwich if you like horseradish.
This is a great place to visit for all meals. I was there for lunch. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. This was a celebration of my grandfather month and day of birth. I was in my feelings about the day earlier. So I gather two other person out to the restaurant and we had an awesome time. The meals were plentiful and delicious. The restaurant has a spectacular do over (newly decorated). I was amazed how the restaurant looked. I will invite more of my friends and family to attend. Thank you
Love the food here. Great place if it's not a game night.
Great food atmosphere and service.
Our food was cooked and seasoned exceptionally well, and our server Destiny was amazing.
She was very friendly, professional, and took very good care of our table.
The establishment presented a "unique" take on the traditional Irish pub, albeit not quite in line with my expectations. The beer selection, while decent, fell short in terms of freshness. The staff's attire wasn't exactly my preference either.
On a positive note, the food and mixed drinks were highlights, showcasing the restaurant's strengths despite the nuances in the pub experience.
The food here is absolutely delicious! It was hard to choose what to order but I tried the Gilly sandwich, which my waitress suggested and it was so good! The irish potatoes are a great side to pair with the sandwich. Kids menus are available too! Newly remodeled, there's something for everyone!
Wanted a cold beer and a warm meal after a long day of my daughter's dance competition at union station. No better place for some comfort food than an Irish pub. Maggie O'Brien's did not disappoint. The shepherds pie hit the spot and red velvet cake was amazing! Great selection of beers. Waiter was excellent as well! Very pleased!
