DELICIOUS FOOD, okay service. The waitress could’ve done better, she was SUPER SLOW. She could’ve provided faster service, instead of having us waiting around for extra sauce and refills. Also the free bread was VERY dry and hard, it would’ve been better if it was fresh and warm.
Food was very good although portions were a bit smaller than I thought they might be. Meal comes with a side, entree, and ice cream so that is a lovely bonus. Service could have been better when we visited, however they were fairly busy.
The vibe was fun. The service was fast and our waiter was very attentive. The food was fine. The portions were plentiful. The calamari was nicely crisped. The meal came with a soup or salad, entree and dessert! It was a good deal for the price. We ordered the pasta with mushroom sauce, shrimp linguini with Alfredo sauce and spinach tortellini with cheese and meat.
The atmosphere and overall look inside this place is really awesome. The garlic bread they give you is just amazing and the way they make the chicken is something else. An ice cream is included at the end of your meal, nice touch. Definitely recommend!
An incredibly busy Old Spaghetti Factory establishment for good reason too. The food was incredibly moist and delicious in a well lit seating area that resonated the building's old charm. I would recommend additional staff as the staff was quite busy due to high seating compacity.
Had a good time. service was a bit slow so make sure to leave extra time. Food and serving size were ample.
Spaghetti was good. Salad was really good. Service needs improvement. Basic things like getting drinks quickly, asking if everything is fine after food comes out within a few minutes, and following up later for desert, boxes, etc. Overall it’s a beautiful place and has a romantic atmosphere. Food tasted good.
Food was very good I only give 4 stars on all food. The wife's food is 5 star always. I need to keep eatting. The place is off a back street or what seemed to be wouldn't go there after dark. We rode the train there from the other side of the river where we camped. The arch is right also.
Our family of five walked to Old Spaghetti Factory after visiting Gateway Arch. From what we could tell, there was only one server there and she was quite busy, so we had to wait a little bit before we could put in our order. The salad, bread and appetizers came fairly quickly. The entrees took a while and 3 of the 4 that we ordered came together and we were about halfway through eating those before the 4th order was finally brought to the table. The food was good. Restaurant and bathrooms were clean.
Took my Ohio friends and their 5 children (ages 13 to 1) and grandma from Peru after the Arch experience on Labor Day 2023. It was around 5 p.m. As a party of 9, we were seated at the very back near the kitchen as that's where the biggest tables are. Jason was extremely kind to and patient with this family and they remarked how they are typically treated so poorly by service people at most restaurants because of 5 children so they were THRILLED to receive such amazing respect and service. I was worried about the food but every single person loved their dish and their faces lit up with the first taste of the unknown Spumoni ice cream. He made substitutions when possible to accommodate them. They couldn't stop talking about this dinner/service as being a highlight of their week in The Lou. Thank you Jason from California. First time visiting St Louis so I wanted to go to a historical place to eat. A locals favorite. I wasn't very disappointed but it could have been better. But for the area there aren't many choices. I had the shrimp fettuccine and salad. The shrimp where a nice size not those popcorn shrimp. The sauce was good just a little too thick. Just glad it wasn't water down. I enjoyed the fettuccine. I had a salad with cesar dressing tasted like a homemade version that lack the Cesar taste. It was mainly water down mayo and the lettuce wasn't fresh. Which was very disappointing for an Italian restaurant. The loaf of bread was nice and warm. I finished the dinner off with ice-cream.
My food was beyond delicious. I got the mizithra pasta. And I also had the cotton candy limeade drink. Such a wonderful place. This is a definite stop on anyone's trip.
Lovely historic place with great prompt service, nice ambiance, and good food. Unfortunately only felt a bit unsafe & slightly rattled walking down the street from a nearby hotel I was staying at (as a first timer to St. Louis coming in solo didn’t know what to expect). So couldn’t very much relax and was in a hurry to get back before dark.

I will say that OSF St Louis was incredibly busy tonight. However, my husband and I had a wonderful evening and experience entirely due to 3 employees. Mike, bartender, Lala, server, and Alexis, manager, were attentive, upbeat, kind, and completely made our night a wonderful one! Despite being busy, they took the time to make us feel appreciated and welcome, and they did their jobs with smiles and good attitudes, no matter the demands of other customers at the time. Alexis was quick to jump in to help staff, and I, myself witnessed her bussing tables, taking orders, and making drinks, all to lighten the load of another team member. Mike was amazing with his recall for multiple drink orders at once and his ability to juggle the needs of the bar while connecting with each customer as the sole bartender. Lala was prompt, ready to answer any questions, and attentive to each of her tables. Each of these three made us feel like friends, their smiles cheered us, and their conversations made us laugh. In a world that is short of staff in every type of business, these three individuals are valuable employees who handled the stress of a busy night with grace, confidence, and kindness. We were very impressed with our dinner at OFS because of these three, and I hope they get the recognition they deserve!
Such a cool spot and what a great value! I was not expecting the 3 course meal to be part of lunch, but I am glad it was!
