Swung by here while out working and I’m super happy that I did! The owner is the sweetest and no one can compare when it comes to fresh fried seafood in the Oak Park area! Had the Whiting w/ fresh cut fries and it was amazing. I usually have to wait til my FL trip every year to have whiting. Flaky,
This place is SO good!!! The fish is fried to perfection, NOT overly salty, and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for in Sacramento!! I hate that it took me so long to find this place, but better late than never! I go get fish here about 2-3x a week now ❤️
When I want good fried fish, this is the second place I think of, mine being the first 😊 I wasn't disappointed, the snapper was on point. Even though I didn't particularly care for the potatoes salad, it was ok The greed were were delicious as well. Keep it up, I'll be back!!!!
The food was really good. I will say the fries tasted great however there was no crispiness to the outside at all whatsoever it was just soft fries.
Pleasant service. Quick. Fresh. Nice portion. I forgot to ask if the greens are cooked with turkey or pork, though. The menu doesn't specify this information.

Have eaten here over 20 years. Left the state of calif now back Flowers is most original for home made fish. Need a little more seasoning.
As usual, my experience was AWESOME! I'm 57, I've been going to flowers since my 20's.

No comparison when it comes to fried fish in the Sacramento area.
The catfish was delicious as well as the potato salad. What impressed me the most was the house made tarter suace, it was bomb. I am not a fan of tarter sauce either.
I have been there several times. Their fish are cooked to perfection! I have never got a bad batch of fish from them. And their French fries are always good also, so is the potato salad. For that matter everything I've tried has been delicious! I recommend it to anyone.
Cooked to your liking. Oysters are excellent. One of the better fish fry in the area, or maybe the best. Peach cobbler is very good. Need a different brand of hot sauce, more hotter. Enjoyable food. Haven't tried all the food, but what i tried was 👍.

I give Flowers Fish Market a 5 based on their longevity and maintaining a quality product. The building is old but the kitchen is still working just fine, my favorite dish is the Snapper and Ling Cod with French Fries. I eat here every time I come to town and in 30 years its still delicious.
