Zia's Delicatessen - Sacramento - Photo album

Stopped in here after trying out the new pizza by the slice place next door (you should go there too). I purchased a few different things to try out. The chocolate mousse was delicious and so smooth, it may be a little pricey but you do get a reusable glass bowl that makes a good salsa bowl 😉. The s
Hit the spot! Delicious panini, hot melted provolone, Turkey, and red peppers on a crispy focaccia. Thank you. - Anthonyxibarrax
I go here all the time. Fair price for a sandwich of a reasonable portion. Good for a lunch that won't put you to sleep. Showing up at 11:30-11:45 can help you beat the lunch line. If you need a heartier sandwich try Buds Buffet. I love them both but you'll be at risk of needing a nap after a buds s
Friendly service, knowledgeable. Lots of food in the case to choose from. And some really interesting things I've never heard of. I will definitely be back. Haven't been to this spot in a few years. But now that I'm working downtown temporarily, I decided I'd venture past the usual 2-block radius. S
This review is long overdo, as I have been visiting this deli for the past four years. They are IMO the best deli in the greater Sacramento area. My favorite sandwich is the Viareggio, but all of their specialty sandwiches are amazing. Their salads are all very good, as well; my preference is the
Yummy italian sandwiches. You could tell they only had a small selection out of what they would likely display previously before covid impacted everything. We still enjoyed some cold italian meat sandwiches and a delightful hot meatball sandwich.
go early, avoid the lunch rush. all the sandwiches on the board are good. the rare roast beef isn't gray like togos. the two meatball "sub" is lovely, messy, and cheesy! the salad selections taste deli fresh. and there are lots of extra imported goodies on-hand to gift!!!
Nice deli. Excellent sides and desserts to go with their sandwiches. Their turkey is very tasty. That said I love the Roma, awesome if you like artichokes, and the Viareggio which has a pesto mayo spread, and the Lucca. Their potato salad is my favorite and their desserts are awesome too (don't
I ordered the meatball sandwich which was really good. But I really wanted a salad and there were just no choices for salads. Other than that, it's a nice place to sit down and have a quick meal and the folks who work there or kind and friendly.
Great service, delicious family recipes, and nice place to relax. I've been coming to Zia's for years both in Davis and Sac and it is still one of my all time favorites. Their speciality sandwiches and paninis are devine! Can't get enough of this place.
Been coming here for a couple years, got paninis, and espresso brownies. Excellent as usual! I was impressed by the cleanliness and precautions staff is taking to protect themselves and customers from covid.
Theie food is always of the highest quality and fresh. Wonderful sandwiches, salads & pastries. It also is italian food market with a very selective & quality products from pastas, sauces, etc, etc.
A reliable favorite. Usually always a line, but the competent and efficient staff keep it moving. It's proximity to the Capitol makes it a great place for a bite before a stroll the rose garden.
What's not to love about Zia's? The sandwiches are amazing. The little Italian market selection is fantastic. Highly recommend the Via Reggio
Best Italian style deli in Sacramento and Davis. I recommend all their sandwiches, but they're best known for the Via Reggio.
One of the best delis downtown. I eat here fairly regularly and have never been disappointed by an item on their menu. Try it out! Get a dessert from their case too!
Great tasty tuna sandwich. Perfectly made and looks delicious and picturesque. $7. Good price for the downtown area.
