Review Fahrenheit 250 - Sacramento

Mike ONeil
Went for lunch, the lunch specials are well priced and good portion. I went for comfort food and got the Mac and cheese with brisket. My friend got the pulled pork tacos (not pictured). Full of flavor, assortment of sauces to top our plates with including a delicious mustard which paired well with my plate. Very friendly staff happy to answer any questions. Solid tap list of great NorCal breweries and a well stocked bar. Will definitely be back.

We love the food at Fahrenheit 250! The service was a little slow but the food more than made up for it. They have a variety of sauces available for every taste, standard, spicy, mustard and vinegar based. My favorite is the pulled pork BBQ sandwich. A must have!

When a owner puts their ❤️ and soul into a restaurant it shows. Their new Roseville location is ginormous, cozy, clean and has an upscale feel about the place. The restaurant is two stories with an outdoor patio. Each wall has a different theme. The BBQ ribs were good and had a yummy smoked flavor. I would recommend a rub be added before smoking the ribs. The meat was tender, but lacked flavor on it's own. It's not a great date spot, since there's nothing to do besides have dinner. A few patio games would remedy that issue. Fahrenheit 250 has a full service bar. It would be great to have a few local beers on tap. As a way to boost business, I would suggest hosting a car show. That would draw customers to your location. Atmosphere and Staff was 10/10. Son gives kids meal 10/10. It was very substantial, full-sized burger and plate of fries. He (6) ate the whole thing. He's a skinny fellow and a picky eater, so we basically had to roll him to the car after all the food. Tried three (3) different cocktails. I felt they were heavy-handed on the simple syrup. Half a star ding for this, it felt like I was drinking simple syrup on two of them and wanted to water them down. Personal preference, my husband liked his. Ordered two (2) appetizers. The pigtato skins would be worth a re-order. They could add some salt to the table for my preference. The star ding comes from the crawfish fritters however. It looked perfect on the outside, but was raw dough on the inside. They were cooked on too high of a heat, and this is really preventable. It's the reason I'm writing the review at all. Lastly, we shared "the trough" which is a good bang for your buck. Five different meats. The chicken and pulled pork is the best in my opinion. The house chips had no salt. Was left wishing for salt at the table. Sauces were all good. We might try th again in 6 months to a year. They had a rough open during the pandemic.

They could have easily got a five star review if they were not under staffed (likely due to COVID). The food was great! Server was very nice and polite but too busy. We had to wait too long for any request we had. Even an extra fork 🤦‍♂️

Stopped here on the way to Tahoe. The space is big and they were seating indoors due to it being windy outside. All the staff were masked up and the restaurant properly social distanced patrons (not sure how this might differ on a busier night). The food was amazing and we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy. I would go back to try other dishes and sides. The service was good and quick, too.

One of the best places I have visited in a long time! I highly recommend this restaurant. Everyone is very nice and friendly. My son loved the drinks and we all loved the food! I had the Chef's Burger and it was amazing! My son had the smokehouse Burger and he said it was really good! My other son & my husband had The Trough (4 meat) it has ribs, chicken, brisket and pulled pork.... and every piece of meat was delicious! We also had the Pigtato skins and once again really good. You should also try the habanero BBQ sauce, it's not too spicy, it's just prrfect! We'll be coming back soon!

I live in Reno, but visit family in Roseville often. This is my sister’s go-to restaurant. Now I understand why, and I can’t wait to bring my rib and BBQ loving husband and son back to this restaurant. The service, location, and ambiance are all great, but the food is what I am most impressed by. Your mouth will start watering as soon as you pull into the parking lot. The smell of the BBQ pitt is luring and only gets better when you step inside. The menu is perfectly sized with just the right amount of options. I was told that everything on the menu, including salads and burgers, would be delicious, but I had to go with a combo platter to get a true taste of the smoked meat that I was smelling. I had ribs, burnt ends/tips, sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Everything was smoked to perfection. The rib meat fell off of the bone and the tips were “candied”. The coleslaw was crisp and lightly sweetened. The sweet potato fries were as good as they get! The helpings were generous. My only complaint was the slice of white bread. I would have rather had a piece of Texas toast, garlic bread, corn bread, or really anything other than plain white bread! I think this placed is overlooked because of location, but I find it great because there is plenty of parking and it’s easy to access. The interior is so cool. It’s two stories with an inside wrap around dining balcony that overlooks the main dining floor. It has so much character and it’s casual, but classy.

Great food, great beer selection. 4 different BBQ sauces to choose from and you can't go wrong by picking the mustard based sauce.

Good location, just opened here. Had the Texan sandwich, very good, not too spicy. House made chips are good too. Sauces are good, service was excellent. Looks like the patio is going to be really nice. They have not had their grand opening yet. 24 beers on tap, all local. This will be a great place to eat.

Their new location is a HUGE upgrade. Raul was our bartender/server, he is AMAZING at his job. I didn't even have to ask for anything, he anticipated every time I needed something. The space is beautiful, lots of light. The BBQ sauces they bring to your table are out of this world- the mustard one is the best! They have now ruined my ability to eat anyone else's BBQ chips, because they are SO DELICIOUS. The French dip and au jus was absolutely HANDS DOWN the BEST French dip I have ever had. The slaughterhouse 5 sandwich (without bread) is ALL 5 meats mixed together and is a real treat. Also had the Double Black IPA from Ruhstaller which is out of this world. The only thing that was a disappointment is they do not sell their pickled vegetables that they have on display in the front. If I could give it 10 Stars I would.

Five stars! Food was amazing service was terrific drinks where delicious. And how can you go wrong with a big fat American flag taking up a whole section of the wall in a barbecue restaurant?! Cheers to that! 🍻🇺🇸

Was in the area at the theatre and decided to stop by after the movie for happy hour. First time. Very nice. Customer service was good and the best part...1 dollar per bone ribs from 3-6 p.m. tues-fri! Can't beat that! The ribs were nice! The vinegar bbq was bomb! Will be back!

I've been wanting to come to this place for the longest. They got a wicked awesome beer selection, the brisket is on point and their mac n' cheese is weird in the best of ways. I think the only downside is the greens, which is very slight. They're a bit too smokey and spicy, which doesnt leave much room for maneuver.

A great BBQ spot, definitely going back to share the experience! Awesome food, great atmosphere what more do you need?

Bbq was great, appetizers were as well but the side dishes were horrible to put it nicely. I would come back anytime for the actual bar b cue. Stay away from the mac n cheese and potato salad for sure. The service was also terrific which is why they earned the 4 stars.

We have gone here for a couple years and I've been way more satisfied in the past. They have made some changes I'm not fond of. I ordered brisket and it's a good thing I wasn't too hungry. I got two very small slices that turned out to be next to nothing by the time I cut off the burnt outer stuff. They no longer have baked potatoes . Cornbread muffins now have to be ordered as a addition because they serve meals with a dry dinner roll. The platter we used to get has been discontinued as they can make more money on individual meals. our server and service was great. The only good change is your meal is now served on a real plate instead of the tin trays with paper.oh yeah, happy hour specials seemed to have disappeared. Hummm.... I may have to think twice about going there as often as we used to.

It's one of the best BBQ places I've ever eaten and believe me I eaten at many. The food is delicious, plentiful and smoked / BBQ'd perfectly. I'm a big guy and I was stuffed when I left. The cheese grits and meat trio with brisket, ribs and tri-tip where out of this world good. I definitely recommend them and will be going back many times myself.

Great food, friendly staff. Absolutely loved the chicken wings and the “dirty fries”. Also the brisket chili was to die for!

Had the beef ribs on father's day. Loved them. I would love to see them on the menu more often. But when beef ribs are not available the beef brisket is the best!! Thank you for the good service that's important to the meal also.

The menu that was on “explore the menu” on Yelp doesn’t match what is at the actual restaurant. Came here with hopes to have vegetarian options, but was HIGHLY disappointed. They didn’t even have the “pulled seitan” that is advertised on the menu in the restaurant. Also, don’t order the tri-tip Sandwich if you’re still planning on being hungry afterward. It was the most pathetic sandwich I’ve ever seen.

Brisket was on point although I asked for the lean end. Ribs were not fall off the bone but flavor was ok. Cornbread was hard as a rock but the brisket chili was very good. The trip tip was not tender. The server wasn't very pleasant at first but warmed up later when he got more help. Not a good first experience but I will give it another try.

I really like Fahrenheit 250. The food is delicious and I love the various house made barbecue sauces that are offered with the food. I order a chicken sandwich that includes bacon and it is awesome. Add some barbecue sauce and mustard (also house made) on the chicken sandwich and life just gets better. I've also had the pulled pork sandwich it is very tasty as well. Fahrenheit 250 offer lots of different beers and fine sodas (not just the regular sodas but uppercrust sodas like creme soda, ginger beer, orange-creme, etc.). There are several televisions in the bar and bar seating area playing sports nonstop and the staff are very friendly and really go out of their way to make sure that patrons have a good experience when they visit. Highly recommended.

As soon as you walk through the door you smell the barbeque. Great place, great micro beers, and excellent food!!!. I highly recommend the Fahrenheit 250 BBQ over any other so called barbeque restaurant

My 250 salad with pulled pork was delicious. Large salad with lots of veggies, plenty of meat, and a tasty dressing. The Carolina vinegar sauce on the table is a great addition on the meat. Highly recommend!

The BBQ tri tip was great but the service was lacking in many ways. Was very pricey for the quality of food and the portions. The brisket chili was very salty and we could really taste the beer in it.

A bunch of us were meeting for $1 rib nite and happy hour. To start it took 20 mins to get a beer and was very disappointed to be told that they ran out of ribs on $1 rib day. Ordered tri tip with baked beans and potato salad as sides. The tri tip was very well done and dry, luke warm at best. The sides were bland and no seasoning on the tri tip. I'm sorry, but it left me wanting to come home and bbq my own. I know it's difficult to satisfy everyone and with q food it's about timing, but I was bummed.

Loved the pulled pork potato skins and brisket torpedo sandwich! Generous portions and great flavor. Service was also very good! We will definitely eat here again:)

The food was amazing! The service needs a lot of work. We were never asked for a second drink, much less offered and after dinner drink or desert. Maybe it was just an off night. We will go back - the food was amazing!

Place has delicious BBQ! Nice portions! Especially liked the Brisket Chili! Highly recommend!

I have eaten here before and the food was great but I just waited for 15 minutes to try to be seated and no one even talked to me. For some reason there is one lady who is working as the bartender, the hostess, and the waitress. I only get an hour for lunch so I had to go to a competitor's barbecue spot.
