It's been a few years since I've been here. But the food and service is excellent... Although the prices are higher than the past I still think is worth the money...

I've been multiple times and their food and service were always consistent. One of the best restaurants in Sacramento. It also has a good location with enough parking space even during a weeknight. My go-to sushi place in town.

Miso ramen and Shoyu ramen were really good. Fresh ramen noodles. Tonkatsu Curry was ok. Curry had a skin on the top.

The food was really good. Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura were cooked perfectly and sushi boat has good variety and fresh ingredients. Beef was tender enough, and sauce was tasty.
The only complaint was that the sushi rolls were too large and not bite size.
The service was polite and attentive.
Group of 17 all left happy and full.

Can't go wrong with this long time authentic staple of the community.
There is an excellent sushi, saké, and ramen. There's plenty of seating and room for groups and parties, as well as a healthy dose of parking.
If you have a group, try one of their sushi boats. They are the best in town.

My preferred sushi place, my friend and I love it, food is fresh, price is fair, not a fancy sushi place but fits my daily routine and more importantly close to my house and convenient location

Great place to eat. The bento boxes are great and so is their sushi. Staff are very friendly. Would recommend 👍

Went in on a Monday night. The restaurant wasn't too busy. When we walked in there were plenty of open tables near the door right before the sushi bar. We were led to our table located in a back seating area. It was quite a surprise. When you walk in it doesn't look like there is any more seating past the sushi bar. The restaurant has more than enough seating for larger groups.
Our server promptly brought us water. She then gave us plenty of time to make a decision. We split one sushi roll and each ordered ramen. The roll was prepared quickly and was very good. The ramen was good. The noodles tasted fresh. The flavor of the broth was smooth. Not too salty or spicy. Our water glasses were frequently topped off and the table was cleared of empty plates quickly.
Hopefully, we can return to try other menu items.

GIGANTIC portions, fresh fish, great service, great for large groups, okay prices.
Chicken katsu curry: it was a HUGE DEEP bowl enough to feed 2-3 people. The curry was delicious and chicken was nice and fried and crispy. Only complaint was that the potatoes and carrots were huge - they could have been cut down more and it would have been easier to eat.
Salmon lovers roll: five THICC slices of salmon with an Ichiro roll - awesome deal. The salmon was really fresh. Roll had a tiny bit too much sauce and it obscured the flavor of the salmon, but otherwise very satisfying.
Rainbow roll: tempura inside was a nice touch. The fish was fresh, and it had a decent amount of pieces.
Chirashi bowl: a plate of delicious fresh fish.
I wish the ginger was a little softer and sweeter because it would have been easier to eat.
When you first enter, there is a small seating area with cute salmon steak cushions.
The entire restaurant is large and there is a second seating area in the back. Large parties should not have an issue here, but always good to make reservations.
There was a kid playing loud screeching noises from his iPad next to us. His parents didn't give him headphones or anything. Wish someone did something about it.
Otherwise, you can't go wrong with their fresh fish options and expect the plates to be large!!

I got the Teriyaki Salmon with Tempura lunch which came with a Miso Soup and a side of salad as well. The Teriyaki Salmon was super good as well as the Shrimp & Vegetable Tempura! The staff were really nice and welcoming and attended to our needs in a timely manner. The overall atmosphere was warm and lively as there was also a celebration going on too with other groups as well.

Hands down one of the best sushi restaurants I've been to in Sacramento area. We got there around 5:45pm on a Wednesday night to a quiet and intimate dinner scene. The wall decor combined with Hoshizoraga Utsuru Umi playing over the speakers.
The sushi was ok, but we really came here for the chicken katsu curry. Surprisingly, not many restaurants have this on their menu.
As it turned 6:00pm, the tables began to fill as people slowly trickled in for their midweek dinner. There appeared to be only one waitress and one bus boy who was assisting with drinks. The women served everyone with grace and ease and even had time to check on us every now and then before we closed out.
Overall, the experience was great and a nice place to feel transported for an authentic feeling Japanese experience

Wanted to try this place for a while. This is the first time I was able to and it is absolutely great!! Definitely coming back in the next 2 weeks with more family members.

One of the most diverse japanese menus in all of Sacramento! Their sushis are alright for their price as well as their beef teriyaki dinners! Salad and their miso soup were alright. Really friendly waiters, and when they open at 5:00 there's no wait!

Love, love, love this place. The real deal Japanese food. I've had their tempura combination, chicken curry, teriyaki bento box, and now their tonkatsu ramen. Everything I had was delicious! However, my friend ordered the spicy tuna roll and she said it was too hot spicy, more than she's used to. But she almost ate it all because she said it was delicious. So still good but be forwarned.
We ate in the back room where I had never eaten before. Very spacious. Typical, a couple people speaking Japanese, made it more authentic! Our combination tempura had shrimp, sweet potato, zucchini, broccoli, and green bell pepper.
